I try. Poetry is a hobby. Helps relieve stress. They need a Poetry blog classification. Peace, Beebes

I too, am confused by your reply... The God I know is a loving, caring God. My Jesus isn't a Jesus who "gets back" at people. My Jesus wouldn't kill someone's baby to punish the mother or father. Maybe it's because you're Catholic.... Your church has told you different things than mine. I dunno. Peace, Beebes

Recently I had a pretty bad arguement with my girlfriend. After we kissed and made up, I wrote this poem to her. It's short, but I hope you all enjoy it. What is speech without words? What is sight without light? What is touch without hands? What is love, without you?

Why, then, does he let his innocent little babies suffer and die horrible deaths? I'm talking about infants who have diseases or defects and whose short lives on this earth are nothing by pain and misery. Sometimes things don't make sense to me. This is one of those things. My best guess is

Some of that horrific stuff has been done in the name of your god and of your religion. I doubt our religion has exclusive rights to that kind of thing. But I do understand what you are trying to say. People do bad things... Individuals sometimes stray from what our religion tries to emphasize

So... many.... posts... Can't... read... it... all... To all out there reading this post, who understand where it is going, and know the gist of all the conversations on it... My hat is off for you. Let me say that I don't feel that Christianity is a religion. I consider Christianity to be a relationship with Jesus. Knowing, and believing what Jesus did for you, and professing your faith in that belief is all that is required for our

Excellent article, Gideon. I've seen the articles about the teen bashing. I wrote one of the the first ones myself. Believe me, all that I was interested in when writing that article was to say that most of the teen crowd is real, not fake. It kinda got out of hand from there. (an example of this are some Christians who are still told that AIDS is God's punishment for homosexuals, who have yet to see the tragedy of childre

Thanks for the support guys! I'll get around to posting on your articles Zoo, just give it some time. Why do my other articles get all the attention, yet the ones I want people to read aren't given any replies? I guess controversy breeds a crowd. Peace, Beebes

Sometimes, getting through the first few sentences of a new article for my blog is the hardest part of writing. Sometimes I can’t think of something to write, so I come up with a fancy title that might catch someone’s eye and make them come read it, because I can honestly say that when I go to a blog because of the title, even if the blog is something I’m uninterest

Emotion is not something to be ashamed of. Carebear has every right to feel the way she does. Being accused of something you didn't do incites rage, horror, sorrow, pain, and many more emotions. I felt most of them myself. I really didn't trust myself to write them in the emotional form that carebear did. More than anyon

Now carebear, don't get too excited! We are who we are. That's all that needs to be said. Judging us because of one person is not a good way to go about things. If no one believes any of us, it's ok, because in reality, if that person can't take what I, you, Zoo, or Capt. says at face value, then that's something they have to work with and deal with. Turn the other cheek guys. Peace, Beebes

The past week, I’ve decided on the path that I will hopefully follow the rest of my life. I’ve found what I want to pursue after highschool. My current path is Pharmacy. But I don’t really want to talk too much about my college choices and my upcoming school year. I want to talk about the decisions. For the past three years I’ve been looking at c

Although I'm not sure about your motives, I do think that this piece was, like mignuna said, very beautiful. You have a down to earth style I like. Keep it up! Peace, Beebes

Sometimes, a private relationship is better than a organized religion. For me, I don't really have a religion, I have a relationship. Churchs say bad things some times. Believers in my religion sometimes have opinions that don't necissarily go with the message that my religon wants to enforce like "Do unto others what you would have done to you" and "Love your neighbor as yourself". As they say, Christians are the worst advertisment for Chri

habla ingles? I have a question for you, if you don't mind. Why do you write your blogs in german? or whatever the language is. Not trying to be rude, just kind of curious. Peace, Beebes

Site X is this site. And in a small way, I believe they may have a point... Being able to express your opinions and getting real conversation and/or compelling and rational discussion is a main reason I started to blog. Sometimes this place sounds just like a chat room. But anyway, everyone does what they like. Peace, Beebes

So... I’ve heard a few things. About JU’s teen bloggers. Quite honestly, I’m hurt and upset by the fact that some of the most talented, intelligent people on JU would lump us all together and call us “not true”, as if we are the most horrible people in the world who lie about everything just to get a kick out of it. If you think about it, I don’t see why you would do

Just raising a small question if I could.... Are the biblical values in the commandments bad? I alos agree with Shades in thinking that we have enough biblical values instilled in our legal system, we don't need them entering the classroom as well. ? Peace, Beebe

Abe, God doesn't demand a personal relationship. He requests it. God loves you so much that he is going to let you do your own thing. He wants what's best for you, and doesn't demand that you pray and give thanks for what he has done. God wants you to be with him and grow in your faith. Believing for the afterlife is IMO not an acceptable faith. Getting into religion just to get the carrot on the end of the stick isn't what it's about

Andy, you're thinking too much. (This from me... who knew?) Calm Down. This place is a place for people to write what they want to write about. Politics is a heated conversation. Trying to pull substance from other peoples disagreement with your political views is like wringing a dry sponge. As of right now Andy, you are just another face in the crowd. (I say this because I, also, am just a face in the crowd) You want people to recogn

Fellow JU bloggers! How's it going? I'm writing this in live from the band camp that currently is hosting such JU favorites as Captain Cornbread, carebear07, and Zoologist03. Things have been kind of interesting here at Hocking Tech College. As of right now, carebear07 has been fighting over Brandon with a bunch of other band girls. It's been interesting

Hmmm... I don't know what kind of story to tell... Maybe the one where I lost 20 lbs at band camp? *USER FRIENDLY TIP* Do NOT take antibiotics when you plan to stay out in the sun a lot, even if your perscription says it's ok. Well, lets see... Guy 1 is taking antibiotics for wounded infected shin. Guy 1 is out in the sun a lot. On Tuesday night of a 5 day band camp, Guy 1 eats chicken linguini (SP?). Later on that night.....
