Once we entered Vietnam the line drawn between civilian and soldier was blurred and in this war it disappeared entirely. There is no definitive enemy, no Capital to be seized, no ruler, nothing at all that will signal the end of the war. And if a person sees no end to a terrible event, no matter how noble the aim, they will lose

Pete, I think we are both very lucky to have such wonderful, supportive and understanding women in our lives. Where would we be without 'em, huh? Wish I could add myself to that list but I can't even get my wife to make me my favorite dinner. Hell I don't even believe that after 8 years she even knows w

What?!!! More problems? With all the money I pay to hang out in JU?............ Wait, this site is free, oh never mind. Take your time, anything to make this place better. (Disclaimer: Just in case no one gets it I was only joking)

Funny, JU seems to have all the normal people in the world since only one person here admitted to actually doing any of this. Come on people, most of us know we have done this at least once. Even I admit of talking while driving and not being completely careful from time to time, heck I almost hit someone just for changing the radio station. <TABLE cellpaddin

This war such as it is shows once again, if the battle takes too long we wither and die., America was all proud about how quickly we rolled up Saddam, we walked proud and talked loud but as the casualties started to mount as will happen in a war, out from the woodwork crawled the cowards and now we once again See the PEOPLE of Am

#15 by rombios (Anonymous user) Sunday, May 21, 2006 A coward that complains about soldiers yet his name resembles that of one known soldier that kills like nothing. Rambo. What an idiot. How do you even have the brains to even come to this site once in a while, don;t you have anything better to do

Your stupidity never seizes to amaze me Col. Iraq Foreign Minister Says Another 18 Months No where in your article to you say Iraq demands, because Iraq said so, Bush agrees or nothing of the sort. The Iraqi Foreign Minister BELIEVES that about 18 months are needed, THAT DOES NOT MEAN IT WILL

Hey LW, remind me not to get on your bad side. Ever considered a job in the WWE? I'm sure you can put a few of those wrestlers and fans to tremble. Better yet, hows about a Gov't position. Maybe Vice-President or something, keep these people on their feet and doing the r

The word "tax" is too much of a scary word in todays society. Especially when we have a Gov't that likes wasting money on useless programs, backstabbing countries and lazy Americans. I'm not to fond of the idea of giving the Gov't more money to, supposely, fix a problem only to see that money squandered on stupid things. And to add a tax that would eventually end up being paid by us, the population, just so that alternative fuel vehicles can b

Well, I went to 3 different schools by the time I graduated from high school. I was in Puerto Rico in 10th grade. I was a loner; I only had friends when it came to English and Math class. I hated it; I had to meet a 7th grader in order to find a girl interested in me. I went to American High School in Miami Florida for 11th grade. It was a cool school, great teachers and some nice students. I had a few friends; I also met the girl of my dreams

Even if there is some uranium in Iraq, to produce weapons grade material is a long and difficult task that requires equipment that did not exist in Iraq. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/JU/smiles/Laugh.gif" bord

If you were not so afraid of learning something you would read my book. Col, if you are so macho and you actually believe I can learn something from your book and you actually want us to learn, send us all a free copy of your book. I'll be glad to give you a PO Box number for you to send me a free copy

Canada doesn't seem like such a bad place to move to. You have the right to your own opinion, but if you like Canada so much why don't you just leave already. I guess it's easy for people like you to run when the going gets tough rather than stand and fight to make this a better place. Those are the wor

I used a mac a while back. Was actually my first use of a PC. 1994 to be exact. While it was nice I actually like using Windows better. I hear all this about Mac being better at editing photos, videos and music. I personally don't see that Windows can't do the same. I have edited photos, video and music with no problems. I guess that's why we have variety, not everything is meant for everyone. I will own a Mac someday, hopefully soon, but Not

The problem is even if 99.99% boycot the polls, the other 0.01% would still be enough to decide the outcome. It seems to me that they need a minimum percentage of turnout for things to count. I know, I know. But my point is the impact it would create to those who are running for office to see that hard

ID, I have to commend you for keeping a slight cool when presenting you replies to the one-way brain of Col. Sometimes I say it's pointless to continue to argue with people like him, but now I realize that it's worth it. Every time you put one of his responses down, he tries to fight back but ends up short on ammo and every time he gets worse. I think we can use Col as a meter to measure what's going on in Iraq. The more ground he loses, the more ground the terrorist are losing in Iraq.

In 1998 and 2002, 63% (!) of eligible voters stayed away from the US mid-term elections. Since 1960 (at least) mid-term turnout of eligible voters has been consistently less than 50%, with a 'high' in 1966 of 48.4%. It doesn't seem to make much difference... I mean almost everyone. I mean about 90 to 99

I would be great if we all, I mean everyone in the US, would just not go to the polls and vote. Send the message that we will not tolerate this crap anymore. Wonder what they would do then? Oh well, it will all just go back to the way things were anyways.

The facts I used can not be contradicted by ANY reputable other source. Since when would data from the Treasury, Dept of Labor, Dept of Commerce, OMB and CBO not be reliable.
