I've been using Firefox since about 0.9.3 (or 0.8 but can't find the installer) and haven't looked back. IE is just awful and needs to die.

Where did all the options in the reply editor go?
Ohh I was wondering what you were working on next, looks awesome. :D
3/11 people rock. [e digicons]:w00t:[/e] Thanks guys, and tomorrow I'm off to Disneyland, woohoo! [e digicons]\o/[/e]
Gandalf ftw, digging the Mac styled shots too. Haven't posted a screenshot in a while, so here's mine. Details: https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/screenshots/27013/
Open the skin in skin studio > change skin colors > select "skin defined system colors" > change the desktop background. Or, open windowblinds > click on the colors button at the bottom > change skin system colors at bottom right > system color: background.
I would just ask the skinner, Master skins should have everything skinned imo.
That's what I thought too.
Thanks Xiandi. Found it, but unfortunately it doesn't help me much though, apparently this (master) skin didn't skin the jumplists for 7, gah! [e digicons]-_-[/e] Don't suppose you have any hints as to how to just change the background color for it huh (in the absense of an image)?
Been digging around in SKS but I'm lost. In which section can I edit the 7 taskbar jumplists? Thanks.
All done and updated now, whew.
Mine errored the first time, trying again....stuck at 19% right now...
Wow Doc, if you're getting in such an uptight hissy about his language, you'd have a heart attack and fall over if you heard what comes out of my mouth.
What if someone said something earlier in the thread (before it "lost the plot") that is extremely helpful? Should that person not get recognition because others spammed the remainder of the thread with off topic rambling? Bara
My point exactly. And what if the person you wanted to give karma to was actually a moderator?
as a work around, click on the persons name and choose find other posts. if they have any...
That doesn't help if you want to give them karma for a specific reply in a closed thread.
I've had my mediaplay mouse for like 5 years, never had a problem with it. I was using SetPoint 4.x and it always said I was up to date, had no idea it was so far behind.
I requested this as well in the OD2 beta thread. Not only that, but being able to apply the same color to all the tabs at once would be fantastic. Having to write down/remember the custom RGB code and then manually changing it for 6+ tabs is tedious.
Thnaks Steph. A little late though. {Nice to see you again!}
Heh, I actually got it after I saw Jafo recommend it. Been using it ever since. Good price and generous licensing too.
I use SyncBack to automatically backup my stuff. Set it and forget it.
Never noticed...but it would make good sense that they didn't...considering the thread IS closed....
Perhaps, but there's still no reason why we shouldn't be able to give karma even though the thread is closed.
I thought the thing with the hovering to the comment options (reply, give karma, etc) was gonna be switched back to being always on....anyway, it's impossible to give karma for a post in a closed thread because those things don't show up.
SOLVED Please keep it to yourself. I would hate to see the forums full of animated avatars that hypnotize you.
I second that...animated anything is the devil.
Deskscapes? Really? I remember when it was all the rage a few years ago, when Vista came out and then when it became available for XP. For me it's just novelty, just something to show off when non-techie types are nearby. Other than that, meh. Haven't even tried it on my new 7 machine, guess I haven't looked/found any worth trying.
When I was on XP, it wouldn't work if: 1. You only have one account and it's not pass protected 2. You're on a domain, which then it doesn't work at all Then there's always the possibility of some OEM override, like the case with my friend's HP machine, have to change the permissions on some particular file.
For tutorials on non SD apps such as Winstep and Rainlender, They are at those sites, so a simple link to them should suffice. Why waste space on the servers?
Because it's a lot easier to have everything in one central location instead of having to run around all over trying to find the info.
ooo, that looks awesome in purple!
I second that. [e digicons][/e]
