The forums ate my post. o_O Avedesk can do it all, displaying all the information you want. It can also have thing like weather desklets, display system information, and other goodies. I was bored one day and made a beginner's

I'm confused about something, when it shows the poster information on the forums page, is it supposed to be the original author of the thread or the author of the most recent post? For me it seems like it's showing the original author, wouldn't it make more sense to show the most recent poster or is it just updating a little slowly? I have another question about the timestamp issue (I know it's beating a dead horse) but

According to SDC it should be updated. The tray icon says WB 5 (5.01 (build 62 x86). It's more of an annoyance than anything else, I just hope it's not covering up a larger underlying problem.

I have been having the EXACT same problem! I thought it was just me and that I was going crazy or something. WindowBlinds 5.0 System Information Report: STATUS : WB+ SRV+ HLP+ UI+ TRAY+ WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC. WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC Your machine supports per pixel borders on WindowBlinds skins. You have one monitor in total. <b

Well I got it installed and it's great. One thing I noticed though, when I add new programs to the forced list, it seems the only way for me to get it to apply to those programs is to restart, is there another way to do it that I overlooked? I figure I had to be missing something there.

Ohh, I see it now. Is it a beta? I had pre-releases hidden so once I undid that it showed up. I was looking at what it does (searched it on the Stardock site) and it looks exactly like what I wanted. Suppose I'll give it a whirl and hope nothing goes bonkers on me.

Enhanced File Dialog? I didn't see it in the list of products, I do have Object Desktop. As for ObjectDock, I was hoping I could just create a shortcut in that choose image dialog because I have a folder of icons (almost 900mb worth, a bit excessive?) in another directory under my C:\ drive. It's a bit cumbersome having to navigate out of program files etc back into my icons directory to change an icon, was hoping I could

*test to see if I can get quote to work* Ok I forgot how to do it? I agree, I've been having that problem lately that when I check a thread that I've read, it never goes to the newest post. Same after I make a post, it goes back to the top. :\ <span style="font-family: Verdana,Ar

I hope the rest of the site will be getting a makeover to match the forums now? They look great, along with the new Stardock site. Very sexy. New pretty little smilies to match would be cool too (as someone mentioned about the little ugly faces). Faster

Is there a way to add shortcuts to the Choose Image... dialog when changing an icon in OD? http://www.bebi.r0x0rs.com/uploads/chooseimage.jpg I tried adding a shortcut to my icons folder in the OD folder but it didn't work. In addition, is there a way to add a shortcut in the Select Image dialog http://www.bebi.r0x0rs.com/uploads/selectimage.jpg or the Open/Save dialogs? http://www.bebi.r0x0rs.com/uploads/opendialog.jpg I'd like to be able to add/remove icons there on the sidebar but I'm not sur

I wasn't sure what the comparison was either but after reading it several times it still didn't make much sense. As for the topic, from what I've grasped of it, I don't understand why Microsoft should have to shell out source code to help their competetors compete against them. Seems pretty weak, if you can't make your own product on your own merit without the corporation you're competing against holding your hand the whole way, what's the point? Stardock seems to be doing pret

RE: #13: I'd like you know what history book you've been reading. The US stayed OUT of WW2, the EU saved OUR asses? Does your book not mention Pearl Harbor, D-Day, and the fact that the US was fighting on not one but TWO fronts (EU and the Pacific)? So much for "uninformed Amercian opinion." Might not have much to do with the topic but both my grandfather and great uncle fought in that war and they'd probably be rolling in their graves after hearing that comment.

I'd suggest Foton http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/15465394/ It's about the smallest thing I've tried, actually it was too small for me to use for very long. :o

It should download as a .logonxp file, and then you need to open LogonStudio, click on the Load button, browse for the .logonxp that you want, then click Apply. Should be all set. Otherwise you should be able to just doubleclick on the .logonxp file to load it in LogonStudio.

Looks clean. Gonna take a while to get used to. Like that 'who's on' down at the bottom of the forum home page - much easier to tell who's with Stardock. Does it also show the various Admin/Mods when they're on? Quote not working for me either. >_< I'm not seeing the "who's on" thing. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Gasp.gif" border=0 AL

Probably. But I like how the center piece looks (the gloss and all) and the blue pieces at the ends are overlapping one of my avedesk desklets and I was hoping to crop them out and use it that way. I didn't think it would be this difficult but seems I was mistaken.

Does anyone know how I would modify the .ini file of the Tiger OD background https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=4481&LibID=29 so I can display the background with only the center piece (that I've cropped)? When I try it with my modified background.png it shows it at the ends (instead of the blue pieces) and nothing in the center, I'm afraid I have no clue what I'm doing. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Hmm.gif"

Right click on your desktop, go to properties, click on the appearance tab, then click on advanced, change the All skin defined fonts to be replaced by and change it to something more readable to you (assuming you are using windowblinds).
