Well my first suggestion would be to use a format like png/gif/jpg instead of bmp. Then...the image has to be on the internet somewhere, you can't post something that's sitting on your hard drive. Try imageshack or something.

You should just be able to drag the whole thing up there, just make sure it isn't locked.
Ah, yes it does (now). Guess it was just some kind of time warp thing.
I tried looking for the other threads that mentioned this but lost them. :S Like the thread title says, I just updated my email address with both the Stardock site and here, then cross-referenced them, validated through the email, and it told me that my user level is unknown, which should be Level 4: Current Customer. Just wondering if this takes time to fully update or if it's gonna stay that way (bug or something). <img src="htt
The SAME thing happened to me with AveDesk 1.2. I made a topic about it but got no response. https://www.wincustomize.com/Forums.aspx?ForumID=170&AID=70000 I did end up just keeping IconX disabled and used AveDesk to replace the icons. Works out nice, but I do think the IconX compatiblity issues with other programs should be addressed somehow. :S<
Test.....I can't see the comments.... >_
What the hell does all that spam have to do with SP2??
Yes bootskin is the program you want, and there are a ton of bootskins in the bootskin library to choose from. There should also be a few threads around here on how to create bootskins, just gotta look for them.
I've downloaded some skins and the titlebar buttons are on the left instead of the right, is there any easy way to switch them around so that they're on the right instead and whatever was on the right will be on the left?
Here's another thread on converting visual styles to windowblinds: https://www.wincustomize.com/Forums.aspx?ForumID=36&AID=62470
Not sure why it's not working...I haven't seen that skin before. :S Some skins support it better than others. And yes it's quite easy to revert back to the original skin color...all you have to do is uncheck enable color support.
Click to enalrge.
A windowblind uses the windowblinds program and a visual style generally uses something like stylexp (which is a hack to your system file, uxtheme.dll or whatever it is).
It looks like Bliss to me...the default XP wallpaper.
Every time I tried opening icon developer nothing happened and I had to manually end the task in the task manager. I did find a workaround though...I used the previews and just copied the image, pasted it into axialis iconworkshop, then exported it as a png with transparency.
A link/screenshot of your desktop would help.
Try aqua-soft.org.
I haven't restarted my computer since installing it. I did just save my theme though now that you mentioned it. :S Other people who have used this for a while: when you restart and you have avedesk set to load on startup, does it load the icons and everything with all the current settings and remember where they are located on the desktop?

Move Show Desktop to somewhere else, make a shortcut to it in your Quick Launch, then change the icon of the shortcut. You're one smart cookie. Did the trick. <img src="http://images3.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Win
When you go to add the desklet, click on the + button next to the PidlShortcut, it should have my computer and the recycle bin there, just select my computer and then add.
Yeah you can. Apparently I can save the individual icons from the .icl package with this Axialis IconWorkshop program, cool. That's what I had to do in order to be able to select individual icons from an icon package. Just open the .icl file from the icon packager (not sure if it has one, I d
I've had problems with it in the past and haven't felt like reinstalling it.
