A long time ago my uncle introduced me to Belarc . I run it and it creates a complete profile of my computer, including hardware information to installed programs (including Windows updates). It lists *everything*. It even includes your serials for your paid programs so you don't have to go digging around trying to find them when you reinstall. I use it as a reference to make sure I remember to reinstall everything that I had previously.</
Got a "/ in server application error" at about 9:20am PST.
Purchasing a stand-alone product only gives you free updates up until the next major version change. So if you bought Windowblinds 4.5, you would have to pay an upgrade to get version 5 (or 6 or the current version, 7.1).
Shawn doesn't scare me. ;)
Thanks for the recommendation, I don't know how this one got by me. It's really cool. I definitely would run it for a while, but after trying it on for size... I realized it is not ready for Windows7. It's got major Scrollbar & Taskbar issues and a few other minor ones. Sent in my specs to support and never got a follow-up. Needless to say, CFX lost out in the priority battle, and I don't really miss it (the 7 cursor isn't so bad). CXP was soooo much better. No code monkeys out there know how to fix this? [e digicons]:\[/e]
Supposed to be in the triple digits here in SoCal this weekend so I thought I'd go for something a little more refreshing. Keep coming back to Acrylic7, but gah Picasa needs to update their icon for higher res. [e digicons]X|[/e]

fatindian: Hard to get more minimalistic than Naked ;P https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/windowblinds/6886/ So much venom in this thread...time for something just as dark. Oldie but a goodie (Wraith), and works with 7 more or less. Customizing is so much in my blood, I even modded all my sidebar gadgets to match each other. [e digicons]XD[/e] I miss Shawn. [e digi

You can save them wherever you want, and then use the Browse button in the change icon dialog to select your icon. To be honest, I don't even know exactly where the OD icon library even is, since it creates different folders all over the harddrive. [e digicons]-_-[/e] Example: I have all my icons saved to D:\Steph\Icons, so they'll always be there, even if I uninstall/reinstall OD or Windows.

Wow...that is definitely different than any other skins I've seen. It looks so realistic. And I agree with Giz, the wallpaper is nice. Looks like a fancy shower door (that happens to open up into a LED-fest rave in the 10 person shower, w00t). ;)
Agreed with Fuzzy. I'm running 7 x64 on an AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+, works great.
I just got the CoolerMaster HAF 922 (fantastic case - also bottom mounted PSU which is nice) and the stock cooling is front 200mm intake, top 200mm exhaust, rear 120mm exhaust. I don't really see why you would have to change it just because the PSU is on the bottom.
If it was my system i would get a 4th fan and arrange them: front (in) top (out) side (in) rear (out). For another $15 you can just do that arrangement and not mess with testing.
Sounds like a good
It can be fixed, I'm just doing it wrong. [e digicons]:hugme:[/e]
Yes they're the same size, because in fact they're all the same image. The problem isn't with the image, it's with the code being used to display it. In all my other gadgets, the background image is being called in the gadget.html, but in the uptime gadget it's through the gadget.css. That's where the problem is, but when I tried messing with the code it wasn't working properly (because I don't know what I'm doing). [e digicons]X|[/e]
Something seems to have been fixed. I was able to successfully make a post on the first attempt. It's been so bad that some time back I actually had to create a "wc forums f%^% suck.txt" (censored myself there for the forums) to save my posts to try again later. [e digicons]:(O[/e] Spoke too soon...second attempt at this reply. Making a new thread seems to work, but making a reply? Nope...BOOM.
I'm a little stuck....I'm trying to modify this uptime gadget because the background isn't showing up properly (no shadow). After a bit of comparing to my other gadgets (like All CPU Meter ) the problem seems to be that the background image is being loaded via the css instead of the gadget.html. I tried fixing it by mirroring the
