My previous post was in regards to my machine at work. The exact same thing happened now on my home machine (worked fine until very recently.) The two machines are vastly different regarding the OS: one's on XP x32 SP2 and the other is Vista Ultimate x64. The one thing in common (other than the version of OD+): they both have NVIDIA video cards. So you might be on to something, H4ckJack; however the Windows key workaround did not seem to clear the OD+ problem for me. It used to work on

It used to work on this machine/setup and somewhere along the way it stopped working. OD+ v1.90 Build 537u (beta release) XP SP-2 (32 bit) NVIDIA Quadro NVS 55/280 PCI (dual HPL1906 LCD) No other skinning software, using all in-the-box docklets and skins

Reply to WB 5 Beta 2 Update Error in WindowBlinds WinCustomize Forums

I had this happen for the first time for me today, too. Uninstall WB5 (you can keep the skins already there). I did not reboot after uninstall. Then install and the installation is going fine, now. My lord. I've been dealing with this for hours and hours with reinstalls of Visual Studio (various versions), newest MSDN library, etc. It started happening on my work machine (which is Win2k) and I was in heap big trouble if I couldn't run Visual Studio (being that I'm a software developer.) Then I noticed MSDN Library and SQL Server Books Online couldn't open anymore and threw the same error. I figured it had to be something with the help browser - dexplore.exe (Microsoft Help 2).
