It's all really down to taste, some people like DX some don't But the whole idea is to get away from the standard desktop set set my MS, tha standard setup is a background a taskbar (Usually at the bottom) icons placed on the desktop background (either in order or specific places), whic after some time can become a bit boring <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/mad.gif" border=0 ALIGN

I now think that your problem is that the Progress bar size should be 22x9 and that you may have created one smaller than thi (not sure) if so them the BG behind the Progress graphic should be coloured using the first colour. MS set this as permanent so any PB that show a bg must be colour as this :0 <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" ALT="Powere

To have it work on XP try turning OFF the option in WinFX and leaving the XP option ON. Sometine ther are other option in XP (under the Advanced Tab) that interfere with the icon text transparency. Best way is under the Advanced tab, select the "Let Windows..." option, then select just the Drop Shadows option, and then click ok, it should work <A HREF="htt
