There is a program called TweakUI, that when running allows you to remove them.
Default bootskin appears here also, no matter which skin I . Reverted to previous release.
There are no tips, it's due to MS internal coding, which the program utilises. If you use WindowsFX, there is an option to set the Maximum size of windows when maxed
I have IP v2.50 and the only place the "My Music" icon change is at the following. >> C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\My Music All others remain as the default

Winamp 5 is not rescource hungry, If I use WM9 the CPU usage is about 80-100%, with Winamp CPU uasge is about 8-15% I would go for Winamp 5.02, it's worth it <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" bord
LogonStudio or Logons cannot skin the screen you mentioned nor the one that comes after that, and probably never will, XP is not like Win98

Use WinFX - and set Max size to less than your resolution, it works fine here
I use Winamp 5.02 Pro, I have found no problems using it, I use it to Play MP3's - Play, Rip and Burn CD's, it's by far the best they have ever made
