DA has the functionality to change the basic look of windows, but it dosen't add any new features. all it does is get all the options already in windows and it combines them into one program. (1) Window Blinds is able to change the entire look of the UI, for a bit of a look at what it can do, just look at a screenshot on this page, or go to https://www.stardock.com and there's a few good screenshots there. Desktop X can change how your desktop looks and functions; you can put

Ok, I'll attempt a translation: Laist = Least Thge = The oversreas = overseas whenm = when putchasing = purchasing I think that's what he meant anyway. But Aafuss, remember that the $20 is in US currency, and currently, AUS$1 is approximately US$0.55 (55 cents). So basically, you're paying a bit under $40 to subscribe.
Plus the fact that it would mean less mb downloaded/uploaded by everyone. That would also help solve the bandwith issues.
Ok, I'm not too sure about this, because I almost never visit the wallpaper section (come to think of it, maybe I should. I'm getting sick of the standard Windows wallpapers), but if you asked the wallpaper designers to upload the wallpaper compressed in a zip file, it would decrease the size of the section by approximately 80-98% (the average compression rate of .bmp files). Maybe they already are, I wouldn't be surprised. But it's just a thought.
what comment? i doubt you were offended by what either of them said so it must've been deleted already that was pretty quick
my point exactly. i read that thing three times and it STILL makes no sense. i had a friend at my old school who was an exchange student from Costa Rica, who spoke about 5 languages, and apparently english was his worst language, but he seemed to hide it very well. i just changed schools but we've still been emailing eachother at least once a week, and he's getting better (from what i can tell anyway). The point is, don't give up trying. you can only get better from pr

Why ole chaps. Doest thou not haveth but a minuscule portion of thy brains? One is pleased to be-uth able to spake'th in such a manner. However, it is annoying, and hard to read. so please don't write shakespearean (look, i can't even spell it ), because no body will understand you.

Winstyles is avaliable as a seperate program, not just a part of OD
E & J i take it you're new at this the unregistered version of windowblinds dosne't skin scrollbars. and to E & J and Nick: most wallpapers are not included in skins to keep the size down. some authors decide to post their wallpaper in the wallpapers section. if it matters that much to you, look there for it. if you can't find it, maybe asking the author to post it there for you might work
it's 12:30? sh*t that's why i'm so tired. goodnight
I don't get it. I'm an Australian and whenever I hear anyone from other countries speak (in particular New Zealand. Did you watch the Tri-series Cricket earlier this year Jafo? ) they (almost) always sound like dickheads. Of course, that's probably because I'm used to Aussie accents, but you can't seriously tell me that Kiwi accents sound normal, can you? (My apologies to anyone here from NZ
Carlitus has the unregistered version of window blinds. it's not skinning the scroll bars, some buttons maybe, and he might be using a non-XP skin and clicking the start menu and realising that it's not fully skinned, same thing goes for the button that hides un used icons in the system tray, and also the thing (don't know what it's called) that took the place of the "web page view" from Win 98, ME and 2k. none of which are the program's fault (with the exception of the scrollb
try locking the taskbar maybe
But don't forget the fact that StyleXP only skins Windows XP. WindowBlinds skins all windows OS's (that i know of anyway). And that's half the problem. If I won the lottery one day, I'd safetly bet it all on the fact that all the people that have said that Window Blinds sucks are running Windows ME (or a bad installation of 98) which crashes enough by itself without Window Blinds, and Window Blinds only adds to the problems, so they think that there must be something wrong with
Neoplanet was the first program I used that was able to change the way it looks. Before Neoplanet, I thought that a "skin" was just mucking around with the colours on the windows display panel, to make the colours look better than windows standard (come to think of it, I failed every time, but that's beside the point).
Now THAT would make an interesting skin. People and their tattoo's. Anyone willing to give it a go?
i know that feline, but it seems to have made my teachers go crazy. oh well i'm off to bed now so i can get ready to hear him tlaking about tupperware again tomorrow /me sighs oh well
I guess that sitting infront of computers all day does strange things to ppl. And just for a clarification: I've been to 2 different schools in the last couple of years. I've done IPT at both of them. BOTH of my teachers (and some of the IT technicians at my old school) kept making up very wierd references about trying to combine computer programming with normal life. For example, my new teacher was telling us that initialising variables as intergers (in pascal), is li
question: why dosen't stardock go public about OD?
or better still, just remove the ads all together i mean honestly, how many people actually click on banner ads? (including the one that says "do you click on banner ads")
