Yesterday saw a change in our quest to sample as many imported beers as we can and we tried Bintang, a Pilsner from Indonesia. To be quite honest, I did not think Indonesia brewed much in the way of beer, but I was pleasantly surprised with this beer. It has a nice rich hop and barley flavour with a sweetish after-taste. Yup, it's one that I'd recommend.

Don't know why the original Budweiser would be an unpopular choice, it is in fact quite a decent beer, not that I've had one in a while. I've seen it at Dan Murphys but went with other choices at the time. However, I shall purchase a slab [case of 24] next time I'm in-store.

Another beer we have on order is Aktien Landbier 1857 Helles. I love the ornamental bottle top. It's more expensive than I'd normally pay, but I figured 'wot the heck, not getting any younger and I wanna try every beer on the market.... minus those fruity effers.
