Well the 17th has come and gone but my X399 Creation mobo has not arrived at the point of purchase as first promised. The delivery date has now been pushed back to September 30th. I'm totally pissed off because the X399 SLI Plus has again died in the arse. This is now the 4th SLI Plus that has failed on me. It worked okay for a short while but has done what the original X399 purchase did, remains on 00 in the LED error screen at attempted boot. Well no mo

Well this should please you Jafo, we've been drinking black n' tans consisting of Coopers Extra Stout and Coopers Sparkling Ale and what a lovely drop it is, too. The two combined are heavenly. To be honest, I prefer Coopers Extra Stout to the Guinness that's made here in Oz under license. The imported Guinness if by far the better drop.

Another thing I'm doing is drinking lots o' beer... trying lots of beers new to me, including imported brews and some Aussie brews I'd not tried before. I don't even have to go out... both the nearest to us bottle shops deliver to the door. I might even try a few ciders. Dan Murphys has a good selection of imported ciders and Aussie ones.

Well I got Big Beastie back yesterday with the MSI X399 SLI Plus installed. It's in great working order and is even faster than before, plus it isn't getting too hot, unlike the previous one. It now has 128GB of RAM and boots in 20 - 25 seconds. I would have posted the news yesterday but didn't have access to internet until an hour ago... and I don't do internet on a pokey little phone screen if I don't absolutely have to. Not really doing much different to before Covid-19. I mowed the lawns a couple of days ago and tidied up in the garage some... we're using it as a storage area and it got a bit disorganised after searches for various bits 'n pieces. Other than that I've fairly much been leading the quiet life doing stuff on my PC or watching a bit of TV. The TV channels have been streaming some shows I missed during the first airing, so I'm catching up with them now.
