LOL ... no we don't... others do... but we don't... LOL yes there are official cheats in the cheat mode... however if you turn on cheat mode for a game then its not going to give you any score in the metaverse... If you are cleaver enough to work out how... or read the stratagy forums... there are many tactics ppl have submitted over the live of GalCiv.. on how they play the game... these however may not suit you and then you can develope your own playing style and then submit

I think that it would be ggreat if the forums part of the the metaverse could be totaly seperate from the scoring part... eg: ask the player when they sign up us they want this new player to be able to submit scores or if its just for use in the forums... that is a non submitting player... also to cater for players that want to retire a player from the metaverse games submition.. then they could also still be an active member in the forums... Wombat and Retired players should not be affected... only the Miltiple Active persona's Why something like this has to be in place is that even though no one is abusing it now... in time there will be ... and you can't just say you and you can have multiple accounts and you and you can't... its best nipped in the bud now rather than later (it would have been better earlier) As Cari has stated she has helped players setup multiple accounts in the passed to try and fix problems o

Wombat, To cut a long story short... there is nothing wrong in leaving your old account (inactive) (Retired) in SF and joining a new empire with a new Active player... My only gripe is as described in this MSG and others I've replied to around the Forums... You know me..(or should by now) and that I'm always doing what in my opinion is best for the game... This is how EASY it is to Climb the empire ladder in the metaverse the way things stand at the moment... making a total mockery out of everything that has happened in the metaverse todate.. I've actually been waiting to see just when StarDock would put an end to the multiPersona'sand force ppl to recombine their persona's back into one.. and now that the aging has been fixed there is no longer any need for multiple persona's... Its fair to everone..

My vote is as the regulations state... 1 serial number... 1 ACTIVE player.. 1 ACTIVE game persona ... 1 lot of ACTIVE scores being submitted by each player... thats it... [Message Edited]

If its legal then Stardock should remove that from their player registration screen... as far as i know itsa still there... I only call it cheating IF "The Same player" has more than 1 active player ... its ok if other members of the family play... but even then... yes... well not as big a negative effect as they would have had if the bug hadn't been fixed ... the aging appears to be correct now as if they had plated a 0 score game when the last recalc was done... without registering a zero score of course they should see their scores progress the same as anyone else who is in similar situations... I'm an active player and I still loose say 60.000- 100,000 / month in aging .. so depending on their prevous acrivity and their current acrivity .

LOL at least now you get rewarded for playing as opposed to not playing ;) this fix has definatly sparked more life into the metaverse... the forums are busier than they have been in a long time and players seem to have a purpose for playing again

ok... ok... you can all thank t-man for the fix ... I was just the Stubborn messenger... who kewpt prodding here in the forums.. who finaly said enough.. and went to chat with him on IRC... Nicely of course... .. he is an extreamly busy man as are all the staff ar Stardock.. I'm just glad that he had the time to tweak the script while i waited ;) I wasn't sure of how well it would be recieved so I didn't mention it till the changes became apparent ;) Just goes to show you that

After Chatting to T-Man (Pat) on Irc the other night I duno if this is good news or what.. but the metaverse has just got a lot fairer.. T-Man(Pat) has just modified the Aging script so that ALL players are now aged properly (in the coming days.. yes thats how long T-Man says that the script takes to run... that a lot of the inactive players scores will be dropping due to this bug fix).. At least now everyone will be treated the same Active players or inactive ones... Which has been a m

StarFleet was hit last night by someone who tried to destroy our empire... it seems that their plan was only foiled when they accidently removed them selves (as well as all the otyhers) from senator... if they'd kept them self in there and deleted everyone else first... then droped out and deleted them selves from the empire it would be no more....
