And we know what you mean and thats all that matters! That may work in High School or with your friends, but when it comes time to start earning a living, it's a recipe for failure. Don't say that you weren't warned!
F* 'em if they can't take a joke!
Woman on welfare with 3 kids and no husband (dead beat too aparently) finds $40,000 in cash. If this is the same woman that I've been reading about, then she has six, not three, kids. Other than your post I've not read anything about her husband. What I want to know is where the hell is he and why isn't he
"Sir, I want to shake your hand, and also tell you how proud I am of you. My family and I appreciate everything you are doing for us, and we cannot repay you for that." You are a true gentleman, this brightens my day. <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center bgColor=#FFF394 class="mb-Body-Quote-
Although I can't claim to be one of Steven's friends, I do think of him as a friend. Coming from what seems to be a similar background to Andrew's, I find myself a perpetual lurker. How you guys find the time to participate so fully in so many discussions is beyond me. Heck, I have a hard enough time just following them. That said, I've come to appreciate the wealth of kno
"Some food for oil thing"? Daiwa, you beat me to the punch. I typed in my comment and walked away from the computer without clicking on "Post Comment". I came back to find that you'd echoed my original post almost to a tee. Sandy, your post is aptly titled, but not for the reason you'd think. Perhaps a
For those of you using Object Desktop and have been wondering what the heck is going on with ObjectBar and ControlCenter, your ship has come in. Woohoo! I haven't renewed my Object Desktop in a few years, but this will definitely get me to renew. Maybe even order a second license. Great news Brad!
Are you Canadian? Just curious. I am indeed. And unlike some of my fellow countrymen, I have a love for America and a sense of humour too!
Canadian citizens have complained that the illegal immigrants are creating an organic-broccoli shortage and renting all the good Susan Sarandon movies. Now that is funny. I almost blew my Ontario Cabernet-Merlot out my nose!
Really well done Shawn. On the morning of September 11th, 2001 the story was starting to unfold as I was on my way home from taking my Godson to school. I spent the rest of the day glued to the TV. By nightfall I was nauseous. Every time that I see images of that fateful day I have mixed feelings. It starts with angst, and ends with a renewed sense of optimism that we can still make this world a better place. Your tribute is quite fitting.</fo
I first received this email almost three years ago. It's as apropos now as it was then. Too bad some folk just don't get it - even when you spell it out for them.
Good F'N Riddance ...to Bad F'N Rubbish
Hi Craig, Like you, I pretty much love all music, but I don't play any instruments. And while I love to sing, I'm afraid that I have a voice that only a mother could love. One of these days I'm going to force myself to learn how to play an instrument. Maybe it'll be the piano, maybe the drums. Maybe the saxophone, or maybe the harmonica. Maybe the bass guitar, or maybe the flute. But it will be something - I've promised myself. <
I AM 24% EVIL GENIUS! I thwart evil. I am definitely the “Good guy” type. Evil runs from my aurora of all things good and right. Look out James Bond. Take the EVIL GENIUS test at Fuali.com Bwa haha!
Keep American safe. Vote for George W. Bush. He is the President that America needs right now. Unfuckingbelievable........................ There are none
Yes, this woman feels so safe in the newly liberated, peaceful, and secure Iraq that she refuses to use her own name, or the name of any of her friends in her articles Her safety is in peril by the same people that caused the problems in the first place. She has nothing to fear from the United States governm
It wasn't so much the price of elecricity going up that got me. It was the rate of Iraqi's being killed by U.S. forces at 350/month*, or the fact that "democracy" will be attempted when only certain portions of the country are safe enough to hold elections (how can you ever have a democratically legitimate leader when the areas m
So I take it there are NO recycling centers where you live? If so then there IS a market! Because that's where you turn it in! If not *where* do you send your recyclables? We have a recycling program run by the city. Collection cycle varies a bit based upon where you live, but there is a blue box for bottles
Paper is not cost effective to recycle, maybe cars, but paper produces more pollution, and does not save trees, since Paper Companies in the US plant Paper trees and in fact if the Paper Companies did not exist there would be LESS trees in the US now. I don't have the numbers on pollution or trees planted,
If anyone is proud of President Bush's accomplishments in Iraq thus far, they really should read this whole article: I am proud of what America has accomplished so far, but I would not be proud of this article. It is full of hate for George W. Bush. The author demonstrates a complete lack of objectivity in
Since socialism doesn't work well except in small doses as America has it, why even bother supporting some make-believe utopia that'll never be? It might be nicer, but niceness doesn't do as much for the world as practicality. But Messy, the socialists that you are discussing with are only trying to discoun
Insightful: There are no heroes in war. Bullshit.
The one and only time that I went to the festival was for the 25th anniversary in 1995. I found it very enjoyable. My chalice sits on a shelf just behind me. This year I made a trip back to Edina and Bloomington, but was too early to attend the festival - I had to settle for the "Taste of Minnesota" instead.
I don't smoke. Never have, never will. But I always felt that it had something to do with the fact that smoking was something that kids weren't supposed to do , and so they did - to flaunt the rules or to spite their parents. Everyone that I know who smoked started before they were legally allowed to. None of them ever dared let their parents know that they did it. One of my friends went for years before his parents found out - we
