Welcome to the wonderful, crazy world of JU. If you have looked around you'll have seen {and as the people ahead of me have said} this is an open book. Anything and everything is open for discussion here but I really do hope that you don't take offense to easily. Most of the people here are good to think before they comment but there are exceptions anywhere you go. A good place to learn the dos and don't is the survival guide. <a href="https://forums.joeuser.com/Forums.aspx?ForumID=16&

Hazylunarrain:I'm enjoying my days off more than I thought I would. It's nice getting to spend time with the kids. I won't get to do much with them this weekend because I have to work the swing shift friday, saturday and next monday. Which are almost the entire easter break for my oldest daughter and the whole 3 day weekend that my husband gets. Oh well, I'm taking a three day weekend next week. I agree that no-one should be treated like that

Thanks for the update. It seems like things are already starting to run smoother than they were about a weekago. But I haven't been on alot lately so I may be wrong. I do want to say thanks for all you have been doing for us on here. This is a great site and I appreciate you offering it to us for free. I think I'd go nuts if I didn't have this place to rant and vent my frustrations. Thanks again for all you do and good luck on everything to come. <img

I was starting to feel like one of the prisoners. I have worked everyday for the last two weeks, a couple of those days I worked double-shifts (16 hours straight with only two 30 minute breaks). It was driving me nuts. I have today off though. I don't even feel guilty that I didn't anser me cell when they called. (They left a voicemail asking me if I would like to com

thanks for the link, Iconoclast, but in my opinion Buffy doesn't hold up to the main character in this series. Don't get me wrong I used (forgive my spelling today) to like that series and movie but she is always a little teenager with teenage problems. Anita Blake is an adult about my age and has alot more complicated problems than Buffy ever has. Buffy is great for the teenage set but Anita is definately for the adult readers.

lol. Now that sounds like it would be fun. Got any vampires down there? I'm getting tired of this Nebraska weather. 60-70 degrees one day and snowing the next. Please do and I hope you like them as much as I do.

This is for all of you that like the unusual. This series by Laurell KJ. Hamilton is just that. Here's a preview from the first book "Guilty Pleasures" in the series. I hope you enjoy it and please let me know if you do. This is one series where you don't know what to expect. My name is Anita Blake. Vampires call me The Executioner. What I call them isn'

I agree that they should be held responsible but there has to be another alternative for their punishment/treatment than locking them up. The jails are way overcrowded right now. To be tossing someone in jail for sleepwalking would be obsurd. I think maybe treatment for this condition would be better. My mother-in-laws younger sister did try to stab her once while she {her sister} was sleepwalking. But I don't think this is a very good defense.

Maybe she stepped on a few toes here and there but who on here hasn't gotten on someone's nerves at least once or twice. She has been confined for long enough and she hasn't been coming on as an anonymous user because she knows that it would just further complicate the situation and piss off the admin. I think she should be freed or at least give her a time limit on her sentence. {Good Grief, even criminals know when they are going to get out of jail.}

Thanks, Dynosoar. My hours are still crazy. {I worked 60 hours just last week.} But we have been making time to sit and talk when I get home and I usually call him during my supper break. So things are starting to improve. Plus we are starting to plan our weekend away. I think that will make a big difference.

TW: My older brother was stationed in Pearl Harbor when he was in the navy. He loved living there. Trina_p: I would love to go down there. I'd be the tourist in the shorts and tank top. We get quite a bit of snow here. It has dropped down as far as -20 degrees here in the winter before. Island-gurl: It's gorgeous. How can we not be envious?

Ok, here is what is going on. I noticed some odd phone numbers on our cell phone. I knew from the time that the call was made that my husband was the one with the phone. Plus he spends alot of time in chatrooms late at night. He loves to go out to the bars and sing kareoke. But I sometimes work odd hours and don't have the energy to go out so I tell him that it i

Then he should clear his name. I know if I was innocent of something that serious, I would want to clear my name. Yeah he doesn't seem to be all that worried about clearing his name. If it was me I would be doing everything I could to clear my name.

Ok, first phoenix, not all Christians are like that. I don't judge people. I might disagree with what people do but it's none of my business. I personally don't think that God hates you. God is about loving each other and treating each other with respect. I don't think that you are damned for all eternity like some others might say. God loves everyone no matter what. He may dislike what some do but it's kind of like being a parent. You love your kids n

What in the hell was she thinking? Showing a rated R movie to 12 year olds. Didn't she have to get it approved before showing it to the class? At my daughters school it has to be approved by the principal and if he feels that it might be questionable then they send out notes to the parents asking permission to show it to the child. I think the teacher needs to be severly reprimanded or even suspended for a while. And maybe the school needs to take a closer look at how to keep this from happening

Does anyone else think that this is a little disturbing? I can't believe that they weren't concerned about this conviction just because it was in another country. I don't like the thought of this guy running a state program. What do ya'll think? Nebraska Hires Man Convicted of Murder <a href="http://start.earthlink.net/article/nat?guid=20050314/42351a50_

Nebraskawoman, you aren't low on the totem pole. You are only 4 places (in rank) behind The Great, Splendid, Magnificent, Omniscient Fazz. Wow, to be that close to greatness. <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" alig

I'm here at least once everyday either from home or while I'm on my half hour lunch (when the Sarg will let me borrow his computer that is.) I don't always write full articles mostly just reading and commenting on other people's stuff. Usually when I do have an idea for an article it's when I'm nowhere near a computer. Maybe that's why I'm so low on the totem pole. Oh we

Good Grief. Is the mainstream media really that afraid of bloggers? They must really see us as a threat considering how much time they have been spending on the blogging world. Blogging has been all over the news the last couple days. { Link } Great article. Here's hoping that they don't start shooting down more of us.

Ah ha! So she did personally contact his office first! Yeah, she sent an email/letter to his office asking for information on his bill so that she could understand it better but she never got an answer from his office. So she got frustrated with him and wrote her opinion and what she knew about the bil
