What's your Winamp 2 Configuration? in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

I'm working on finishing up my next skin suite, and I need an idea of how people put Winamp 2x to use. What windows do you have showing, and how do you have them laid out? For instance: Do you have the main winamp window with the eq below, and the playlist to the left, right? Do you have the main window on top with the playlist below? Eq on top, main window below? And so on.... Thanks for your help.

Martin, but my current configuration works just fine with Wb 3.5. So it seems more of a WB4 issue than a desktopX issue. Either way, both Stardock programs... hopefully they can get them to play nice together in the future.

I tried to read most of this thread, but there is a lot of commenting going on here. As the outcome effects me personally, I had to add my comment to the long list. I'm against this. If a skin needs updating, a request should be made to the original artist. If the original artist does not feel like updating it, a person can request permission to update it. If no permission is given, then the skin stays as it is. Again, I am against this. Even the basic concept is flawed. If it goes

I appreciate the moderation of the wallpapers here. Some sites are WAY out of control. I personally have had several wallpapers rejected, and that's ok. However, I will say that the moderators obviously favor any walls with an "Aqua" flavor, or the Windows XP logo on them.

$8 is far to inexpensive for a skin suite. This suite is not to my usual style, but I purchased anyway to support the concept of a premimum skin suite for a price. For anyone who has developed any ammount of skins, let alone a skin suite... you know how much time and effort is involved. You would expect the skinner to make more than minimum wage, wouldn't you? If not, then why are we not all working at Wendy's?

Well, it's a very easy bug to reproduce as it does it everytime. Just surprises me, that's all... when I brought it up in stardock support there were plenty of "Me too"s and "same here". Odd that 6 months later it still does it... Oh well.

Well, lets hope they get a very large bug fixed from 1.1rc15. With XP it STILL won't control the desktop size. Whenever the screensaver comes on, or you apply another Windowblinds theme, or anytime you adjust your display properties, all windows go back to full screen.... it was the reason I stopped using 1.0 and switched to Nextstart.... guess I won't be switching back. Time to bug the support newsgroups again. Probably get the same pat response: "We've working on it..." same as before.
