Bichur> yes, my taskbar was already set to always on top ^_^ didnt work though, but WinFX works well enough. I dont use DesktopX, so it serves the purpose ^_^.

also just some comments: 1) you should beable to lock the dock inplace, so that if you accidentally click and drag it, it doesnt move. 2) you should beable to attach it to the side of the screen, AND prevent it from acting as a drawer.
ah... i forgot that OD could disable the start bar... thankyou ! *EDIT i just tried what you said and it didnt work. The maximized window still fills the dock area, evne though i hid the start menu via the dock. I tried using both tab dock, and normal dock. Maybe it only works in the free version? *EDIT i just installed windowsFX and that solves my original questions. Thanks ! How do i force OB to run alongside the entire bottom length of the screen?
Not really, though it probably would be pretty easy to keep the same theme. It's a basic idea, but simplistic ^_^ my favorite kind of style is something that is beautiful to behold, functional and minimilistic. I'd love to make it, but i have no experiance in making themes. I'm pretty good with graphics and design, but when it comes to stuff like mathmatics and aligning (ie in skin browser) and figuring out how to put everything together, im probably going to get lost :\<b
I would love beable to ditch my windows taskbar, and have a a high quality, icon only object dock bar running along the bottom of my screen. The thing thats stopping me, is that i haven't been able to make it, so that when you maximise a window, it doesn't take up the space that object dock resides in. At the moment what happens, is that when you maximize a window, it takes up the part that Object dock covers, and goes under OB. I don't want that. I want it to st
i dont know why the main link isn't working, but i included the same link in my post. I've just gotten the latest versions of Windows Blinds, so i will have to have a play around. Thankyou for your comments, and Thanks for the link Night Train.
I've always wanted to have a skin like this, but when i've played around in skin studio, i haven't had much luck ~_~ Is it possible to make something like the skin i've designed, in these pictures? http://willuknight.hostingdirect.co.nz/Pictures/mock1.jpg http://willuknight.hostingdirect.co.nz/Pictures/mock2.jpg Anyone intestested in helping me? I can do all the graphics and you do the skin studio stuff <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Wink.gif" bord
i still reckon buiding is the way to go. I bought a hewlett packard for nz $1200, and it was completely overpriced (i didn't know it at the time). 1 year later i built my own machine for half the price that it would have cost to get a brand name pc of the same specs, and i've never had a problem with it. The parts fit together like lego, and if you have a problem, figure out which part it is and put it in for servicing. I wo
get some icons from some decent artists. the icons you have were not finished properly.
