Audio DVD has already been out for a while and hasn't really caught on. Record companies have resorted to releasing CD/DVD hybrids where one side is an Audio CD and the other side is either an Audio DVD or a Video DVD and may even contain DVD-ROM content that can be accessed with a PC.

Bush is liberal on some issues like illegal imigration, for example, but to criticize him for spending money on the recovery from a natural disaster is totally something else. I find it pretty extreme that you care more about not reducing your wealth than helping people who are now in a situation they were never prepared for. I consider myself a conservative, but a mainstream one and far from exteme.

As far as paying rent, bills, taxes, ect, there are real jobs out there. There is more to a good quality chip than speed. As far as I know, speed is the ony advantage AMD holds and the speed really isn't that much faster than Intel. Energy efficiency is also an important factor. So is the amount of heat a chip gives off. A chip that gives off less heat will mean less chance of a computer that dies out from over heating. Also I do not want to have to deal with noisey fans or having space taken up by those liquid cooling

If the Mac Mini had to use AMD, it would need a fan and that would be a step backwards considering that the current G4 Mac Minis have no fan.

I would take a little lower speed for better energy efficiency and a lot less heat. Intel is the better choice, and Apple's decision to use Intel over AMD to me says a lot about Intel's quality since Apple ony uses high quality components to build their computers with.

Well of course anything running under an emulator would be slower. Take note that what you have quoted is PPC software running under the emulator Rosetta on an Intel based Mac. Only software compiled to run natively on Intel should be used to test the difference in speed.
