Yesterday we went with my husband to one of his Ping Pong Tournaments out of town. The kids and I were pretty much in once we found out it was going to be near the beach! It was loads of fun! <embed width="448" height="361" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" src="<a href="http://i190.photobucket.com/remix/player.swf?videoURL=http%3A%2F%2Fvid190.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fz249%2FForeverSerenity2003%2F821d1cb9.pbr&hostname=stream190

Oopsy double comment!
Perhaps a Dominatrix could help you to overcome this castration anxiety... you'll shock your family when you return home in a plastic gimp suit, but you will finally be free of this fear of strong women. In no way am I afraid of strong women, I'm afraid of women whose political views are so out of touch with what the mainstream US wants or believes the country should be doing.
Sancho, nice response to such a crass comment!
this is certainly a way to excite the masses, tsk, tsk.
Bad cook at that place Tex! Not just the color but it looks unappetising! Momijiki - that looks tasty, I love Chinese and Japanese food! I've cooked with cucumber before, and I usually add it last minute so that it isn't soggy, it is really good in some dishes.
I know Raven I feel the same too. I can't believe I saw it all, even now.
It's embedded in our memories a day that will never be forgotten let us continue to pray for this great nation of ours our politics might devide us but our loyalty shall always unite us! In memory of that fateful day,
I was going to post one from a past one I did but got side swept by my daughter calling me frantic from the other side of town broke down, that and other stuff, but I didn't forget either.
I think that's wrong. If you don't tithe, no-one should be publicly saying anything about it. But if you are a MEMBER of a church that you knew going in believed in tithing, you should be held accountable for it, in the way the Bible states that sins should be confronted.
Why not? I don't tithe, and I see nothing wrong in saying I don't. I wrote about this because of a couple of programs I watched on tv on sunday and it was about family and their finances and what
10% is a significant amount.
Amen!
Man, has NO authority to offer salvation based on any form of works (including tithe). So with that you are correct, it's a scare tactic! I have signed up to do a 5 K walk - that's 3 miles, or so I'm told, for the American Heart Association of Greater Orlando. This walk takes place on September 20 at Lochhaven Park. I'm looking forward to it, with some trepidition too since I've not been consistent with my work out but I am determined to do and I will! So, I'm trying to raise $100, which is my own personal goal since the regular goal of $300 is kind of high for some people to donate these days! </p
Roy, nice...brought me back down memory lane! [e digicons]:'([/e] [e digicons]:inlove:[/e]
which in the main legitimately questions McCain's motives for the choice. And what are those motives according to you?
Quite easily, he chose Gov. Palin...obviously the vote for a woman is needed since Hillary is not on the Democrats ticket! Now there's a well-thought out meditative choice if there was ever one! No one will admit it, but it is what it is!
faith is the point
Exactly, great point! Faith, having it, no matter what form or shape it comes in, that is the point. Without it, so many of us would give up on our lives, and when someone comes to that point, I hope they can reach within themselves to find that faith, to reach out, beyond pride, to get the help they need. I think we all have experienced some type of or lack of having at one point or another, unless you're super rich of course! &nbs

I've been down the road of not knowing where my next meal is coming from or feeding my kids and not eating much before. I've been down the road of not knowing where the next cent is coming from to pay a much needed bill. Once I even went to a church to get help, before they could give me help they wanted s
Beautiful!
it is really just the honor system between the member and God. The paper given to the member is for tax purposes, if the member chooses to deduct the donations.
As it should be, and the honor system is what I'm sure most people go by, [some would say it is guilty concience] and the tax records is a good thing too!
on the other hand, our tithing is put in envelopes which are handed to the Bishop or one of his Counselors whenever it is convenien
I do feel like our church is pretty low key about it and doesn't put a lot of pressure on individuals. I also love the fact that my church gives 10% of whatever is collected back to the community so they are absolutely practicing what they preach.
That is wonderful and as it should be! You know by now that I'm one of those people who is constantly looking for ways to save, make more money, and live a much better life right? Well, who isn't?! I found the following tips on MSN.com/ moneycentral/betterbanking..... This article suggests 'how to's" for banking and getting your 'house' in order!
I can't imagine going to a church or being a member of a church where they tell you that if you don't tithe, you go straight to hell, or someting like that! I am aware that there are some churches who do force their members to tithe, I think that is wrong. There are also those out there, who if they don't force memebers to tithe, they dictate how much money their members should give to them. I also think that is wrong. When I was a regular member at a church,
