We were headed back from a family outing last evening when my son pointed out something strange in the sky. Because of the crazy drivers around me I didn't noticed until he asked me what that peculiar markings and bright fire-like trails were in the sky. We looked up at the sky and sure enough, there goes the Shuttle Challenger! I reminded them that the Shuttle was supposed to lift off today but I
I hope your little one is feeling much better. I hate to see children sick I can't imagine how their parents feel.
Thx Chris! She was feeling better, went to school and this afternoon when I called to check in on her at her after school she was sleeping. Odd, I thought. Now she's home with a slightly elevated temperature again. I'm watching her now to see if it gets any worse. I can't imagine her getting sick all over again?! It is hard to see them ill.
If I had to give it a score, I'd be giving it 4.5 stars out of 5.
Nice! I would up my score too because it was really that good! I plan to get the movie on Netflix or buy the DVD when it comes out. I saw a big display at Borders but didn't get the chance to go into the store. I think I will get the book at a later date.

Thx BFD. I went to the big W this morning and bought Lysol and all the stuff I need to disinfect everything! I also bought everyone new toothbrushes, mouthwash, the works. Now I'm fooling around on the LT a bit til I get up and go clean! She's doing better and will be going to school tomorrow. Three days of taking four pills a day did the trick in getting her to feeling better, thank heavens!
I love these kinds of debates where we say what we feel without actually insulting other people. Right forever?
It is amazing you think that I insult you when I ask you questions. Consider this the last time we have a conversation. This is not the first time you have said this. JD, agreed, great article!

FYI Nitro. 25 movies prepared by the American Film Institute. The titles include Citizen Kane , 2001: A Space Odyssey , The Graduate , The Godfather and Casablanca . The latter two are listed as favourite films of Obama on his Facebook page. The movies Obama reportedly presented to Brown are: 1. Citizen Kane 2. The Godfather 3. Casablanca 4. Raging Bull<br

Of course, the DVDs (and it would be interesting to see what movies they were) were probably given because one of the Obama's fav past time is to get together and watch movies, a past time they share with friends. Hmmm.....I guess that's too strange a thing to do? What a rotten gift idea, movies? Much like someone whould give music cds' or games because it is something they love to do...very strange! As for the helicopters, who knows, some boys do like to play with he
I don't listen? Why do you people keep talking about this as if embryonic stem cell was banned? And why don't you people keep ignoring or avoiding John's question which I have seen asked many times but never see an answer to it:
You people? The research was vetoed by George Bush remember? There was a big stink about that, but obviously you weren't listening! This is way beyond politics, this is not about who voted for whom, which seems to be the o

My seven year old has Strep throat. She was diagnosed at the doctor's today. Her fever is very high, I hate that part because it is difficult to keep this under full control. One minute after taking the Tylenol, it wanes, next she's very hot all over again. She'll be home for two days, and so will I. I hate when they ge
When is enough enough? Especially with my tax dollars
Everyone always uses this "not with my tax dollars" as an excuse as to why some things should not be done. How else will anything get done? It is always the NIMBY cry!
As I said, you can not prove more money will not be spent. You can believe anything you want but history shows that things like this never stop at what people like you want to believe. Considering Obama is current

Oh and the nudity of Dr. Manhattan didn't prove to be a problem because his entire body was blue Itold her he was an alien and to her it was all costumed! as for my son, he's going to be 15, in high school has already had 'the talk' and I know he's aware of relationships between men and women.

First we stopped by Target and bought her fav candy, gummy bears in different shapes and sizes! We usually don't eat dinner before the movies on a friday because I'm coming straight from work, so the concession stand's kid's meal and a hot dog for her. In the movie, would you beleive my 14 year old refused to sit with me because it is not a film he wants to watch with mommy. My seat neighbours laughed at that and then asked me if I remembered that it might be too much for my

You know, I'm really sick of this thing! Firstly, why are we still doing it? Yea, yea, saving energy, blah, blah...but I'm all for saving energy! Though I can't stand it when the mornings are so dark for the kids going out to school and having to get your body-clock reset and adjust itself! <span style="font-size: small; font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif

I didn't read the comic books, but was aware of who the Watchmen were. I wanted to see the movie, because being a kid at heart, I'm all for grown ups running around being superheroes! I had forgotten how graphic the characters were. Yep, my 7 year old was with me. But the good thing is, my mommy tricks came in handy fo
