take time to build another army?
Epochalypse
ld take time to build which would mean that that ship could not invade - conquer & move off in a single turn.
In GC / Altarian Prophecy I found it a pain to have to wait until a transport was built or just buy one to have it lost when I take over a planet.. I could see it making sense to lose the ship if you fail to take over the planet but what happens to it if you do take over the planet? Where does that ship go? Is it going to be the same case in GC2. Just a really really minor sort of suggestion. I can't really see how it'd effect the game much. </
Here! & patiently waiting.
Space Man 1 I'm having the same problemoooooo.. I guess getting Altarian Prophecy through the old Stardock Central doesn't qualify. Unless I'm mistaken about the e-mail cross reference thingamajig, in which case i'd be screwed anyway 'cause i no longer have that job/e-mail.. But I'm pretty sure I got it right. :sniff!:
That's interestin', my post that showed up on here last night is gone. :( deleted for some reason?? Well, as I said, I'd be happy to help if anything more is needed in the beta testing stage.
Documentation improvement; currently I cannot save a working custom map, and it's probably because I'm doing something wrong.
AngleWyrm, Custom Map files go into Stardock - Drengin.net - AltarianProphecy - Data - Custom Maps folder. I had a little trouble figuring it out at first as well. Then I did a little trial and error and it seemed to work. Once your map is saved in that directory you can then start up AP & in the listbox where you can pick galaxy size hit the r
Dark Rain, is it possible to create a new ship model (not to replce an existing one)?
Yes Yuri you can. :D It's an awesome tool!
doh! missed one! ;) :SURPRISED:
It's happened to me before.. A few times. Gotten 99 in one shot. :)
dull as in they were at war with themselves and would rather give me 5000bc a mo. for 20000months rather than 100bc for 0.
I ran into the Draginol tonight. Took 'em for all they were worth 'cause I could. Then I went to the minor race - "speak to screen" and hit the fist button and it turns out they were at war with themselves... They appear to be rather dull. :d
what was the Auto-Survey bug?? :notsure:
I'm pretty sure Drengin net is a subscription that lasts a year or somethin'(I forget how long) and you can download any of their games up to the point at which your subscription runs out. POlitical Machine is on mine for downlaod, its a release candidate. some other games too. Stellar frontier, bugs, lightweight ninja corporate machine, Galciv & Altarian Prophecy [Message Edited]
ya need the new version of Stardock Central you can find it at the above link.. Download & install it and you should be able to download galciv and alt prophecy without receiving the 47k chunk data error junk.

I had the same problem. 'til I uprgraded SDC.. http://mi.stardock.com/private/sdcentral_current.exe :D
What was the first public release version of the current Galactic Civilizations? I still got 1.0.0.1 kickin' around on my computer along with beta 4.. I'm a freakin' pack rat. I didn't even know I had it 'til about 5 min ago... :D
Were you asked to enter a registration #?
I could be wrong about the 5% degrade thing. It might be more or it might be less.. Not sure.
square root of the # of games played in a period of 31 days(day 0 to day 30) then you divide the actual score by the square root of the number of games you played, for example.. If you played 2 games in a 31 day period. Game 1 2000 Game 2 2000 sqrt of 2 = 1.4142 4000 / 1.4142 = 2828 (Metaverse Score) At the end of each 31 day block your metaverse score degrades by 5% and the whole scoring square root thing begins anew. ;) [Message
I was wonderin' about that.. I always just took it anyway. Then I destroy them.. ;)
ok, it worked on the 6th try.. :D
