I didnt have this bug before. I have it today when I updated to 1.0X.

FiringSquad Review
Maybe these are in the game somewhere, but I havent found them, and would REALLY like to see them: 1) Ability to upgrade all ships in a fleet, assuming the whole fleet is the same class of ship. Hate having to upgrade each ship manually 2) Ability to issue an order to upgrade all ships EVERYWHERE when you obsolete a ship after creating a replacement ship (so when you obsolete a ship, asks you if you wish to upgrade all those ships
Lord KiRon is right. Mcafee/Norton are garbage. Try either Avast or AVG 7. Free and better.
Welcome to old beta bug. That nonsense got me to stop playing beta was it happened far too often. Fixed for retail? So much for my hopes
Muahahahahaha!
Im looking for asteroid belts, spacial rifts, nebulas etc, things basically that are impassable. Is this feasable? Would the AI recognize such things and be able to go around?
Cheated in beta, duno about final
One of the biggest selling points in me buying GalCiv 1 was that it had no copy protection. FINALLY some game producer that GETS IT. I bought the expansion, and I bought GalCiv2. I didnt even play the expansion (didnt have the time), but I still bought it to support the company for making the right games, the right way. Kudos.
Yeah but capturing through culture isnt fun, not in my book anyhow. Vast fleets and armies is the way to go!
Queue list can get stuck on all planets and wont scroll up or down
Small feature request: can an option be added during setup of a new game to chose the starting distance between each races, such as close, far or random? Because in most of the maps I create I often get another race starting VERY close to me and its very annoying to have to keep recreating maps until a decent starting position is found.
Just wanted to add my two cents and say that I love the look and feel of beta 4. After playing such sluggish games like Civ 4 its nice to play a good looking, crips and lagfree game. Keep on trucking stardock!
However the battles end up being, what I DONT want to see is have every battle look the same. Please have some variation, be it randomizing who fires first, from what angle, at what firing interval/intensity etc, so as you play many games, watching battles will still be interesting and people wont default to quick battles just to skip the "same old thing".
Yes, turn bug. Must go bye bye.
Yarlen I hope you are correct as that is awesome! Let me rephrase, AWESOME!
Ive had this bug twice, and in both cases I had to restart the game in order for it to go away.
Im so glad Ship Design won the debate over at Stardock...
I would love to see blockades in the game. Would give it far more depth.
Chosing your own government would be great. Each have its pros and cons, and depending on your play style you would favor different governments.
Have you tried the F1 to F4 keys?
Replace Pluto with Mercury or Venus
Good suggestion ProudCanadian. However I think that would only work if the starting ship range was larger, so you could still colonize the planets in your starting vicinity. However I dont think this would solve anything, instead just slow things down. Everyone would still put most points into social so the starbases would be built asap.
What exactly is the purpose of the Tiny class? I understand that Small can be used for scouts and such, but in all my games my first combat ships are of the Medium class. So what benefit is there of building Tiny ships?
Any game can have its CP cracked and pirated within a matter of days, so the net result of all CPs is to annoy legitimate users and make their game run more poorly than the pirated copy ... Amen.
