Right, like Seilore said, you have to wait until there is one available to opt into before you'll see the option available. Shouldn't be too much longer. ;)

Well, I have tomorrow off so you can release the patch then. I'll be happy to test the heck out of it! Thanks. ;)
It works for me. Not much help but I thought I'd let you know it's not a problem for everyone.
I've not seen this nor have I had it happen to me. You might want to send in a ticket with your saved game so they can take a look at it.
After the live broadcast today, we’ll post the replay on our YouTube channel so you can catch up on the latest episodes.
Really? I'm still not seeing it... Someone in a hurry to go on holiday? ;)
FOW treaty allows your FOW to be cleared from that point on by the other races ships/planets/starbases. Any previously explored territory by them remains uncleared for you, at least that is how I've understood it to this point.
I understand what you're saying but that's not what was happening. We both gave each other the treaty (just like I've done with the other civs) but this was the only civ
Save games can sometimes become corrupted, so whenever a new update comes along I tend to start a new game. They certainly might work, but I find it easier to start over to avoid any issues.
Of course, and that's what I normally do each time. This time, however, it's all your fault, that's right SD, I'm looking at you! Because you made beta 5 so damn fun to play and I'm so far into my curr
Can someone confirm if previous saves are playable with this patch?
They are but I've been getting a lot of freezes, and the endless wait during the AI's turn is back for me. I really wanted to finish this game I started but I may just delete it and start all over as the frustration level is rising... :)
I've seen this and don't think it's an error. My belief on what was happening was that there are no tiles that will work with that tech. Some planets it is this way and others not. I could be totally wrong but my assumption was that this is how it's supposed to be.
Well, I guess I'm going to go against the tide. I also love to have large expansive civs and am currently playing on an excessive sized map. Approval has not been a problem for me at all. I'm on turn 445 and have 38 colonies and 98 approval. I don't think it has ever sunk below 70 in this game. My custom race does not use the Patriotic trait. I just make sure early on that all my people get nice cheap TVs and play a lot. :D Seriously, I just make sure I research and build entertai

Hey Larsenex, I can totally relate! Got some free time today to play and am having a blast. To put the icing on the cake, I also got to see, for the very first time, and after playing many hours in all versions of the game, got to see my star!!! It actually had a planet that you could colonize with the proper tech. It's a class 16 (Lush) planet, unfortunately, it happens to be quite toxic... lol How appropriate! I'm surprised that your game is running slow. I have no page file
Yes, in the two games I've played, my class 16 planet was either a class 8 or class 10. The other free planet we get (forgot the name of the ideology trait as I'm not at the gaming computer now so I can't check) instead of a class 8 I think it is I got a class 11! So it sort of made up for it a little. :)
Confirmed. Happens to me the first two times I was offered something for free.
I've seen this several times in the two games I've been playing so far, why it occurs, I'm not sure what triggers it but it happens on and off. The info box the pops up when you scroll over a ship no longers shows certain info, like how many moves remain, etc. Not sure if it's a bug (though sometimes it's there and others it's not so I'm assuming it is) or intended: [img]http://s6.postimg.org/3w7h7ie0h/Missing_I
Hey Doc, thanks for this. I've used Goodsync Pro for syncing stuff to my FTP site but this looks to be much better as it will back up all the things I want. Good find sir!
I am definitely now seeing this issue with a new race. Research extreme and get frozen, aquatic, etc. but not barren. Definitely weird.
Yes, I have researched the right tech, Extreme Colonization and also Barren Worlds but instead of getting access to Barren worlds I am now able to colonize Frozen worlds without having researched that added tech for full functionality.
If you are having issues, please see the support FAQ on how to submit a ticket so we can look further into it. https://forums.galciv3.com/452855
I would consider doing this except most of the times I get a BSOD, no error files generated and my life right now is just too busy to spend what little liesure time I have to help out this way with testing. S
One thing I just noticed. You state that pirates are in now. In the options screen, under their selection, there is only the option of "none" with a popup that says "coming soon". Also, enabling "hide grid outside your territory" still does not work. And now on turn 4 using all default settings except I'm playing on an "excessive" sized map, I just got a BSOD.
Well, who needs to eat lunch? Not me! Downloaded the new beta and tweaked my settings and see a bunch that I'm not sure what they do, like, "enable lean maps". What about them becomes lean? Oh well, I guess I'll figure this stuff out later when I actually have time to sit down and check it all out. Can't wait!
I would be very surprised if they didn't include at the very least what was in GC2. I think it's considered one of those polishing points that will come toward the end when we're closer to release. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it! :)
The only reason I'm even considering upgrading from Win7 64bit is because of DX12 and what it will bring to the table. I'm also sure that's why MS is only going to let it work with Win10 because they want us to all upgrade for whatever reason they have...
Yup, I take Wens. off and would love to have it released today but am aware they always release things on my busiest work day of the week... I swear there must be some sort of conspiracy afoot... ;)
Minor research screen tweaks... I doubt that means the changed from from full screen back to a window and means I won't be playing GC3 even in this update and probably never if it stays like this..
Wow, you've got some pretty strict "standards" where such a minor, imho, feature/aspect can have such a strong negative impression on you that you ignore the entire rest of the game. I mean you'll bail on the entire game an
