As always, we generally don't give exact dates especially with an alpha as things can change rather quickly. I'll just say "soon".
Thank you Mr. Tease! Yes, totally joking as I do understand the issues involved, I'm just an impatient SOB that had to vent and currently has too much free time on his hands... yeah, right! :D
Thanks for the info, Derek! Though there is a part of me that is screaming how cruel of you to give us this info without the patch!!! ;) Looking forward to checking it out.
Started a new game today and it just happened to me again! Just met this new civ, that is also a kingdom like I am, and I immediately issue a non-aggression pact, and trade agreement. Next turn both are cancelled and they are now cool toward me. They are impressed by me but also think I'm weak, even though they are rated lower than I am... Sometimes this game confuses me with how it works. [e digicons]:S[/e]
Thanks for the reply!
No, most treaties are meant to remain active for the duration listed, and you don't have the option of cancelling them early. There was a bug floating around where you'd receive word that the computer had decided to cancel its treaty with you but hadn't actually done so, so this may be what you're experiencing.
Oh they are definitely cancelling my trade, e
Okay, I'm new to this game and am still learning and have done a little bit of searching but haven't found what I was looking for. I've noticed that the AI can just cancel our treaties at the drop of a hat any time it pleases but I can't, or at least I don't know how I can. Can I? If so, how? I keep spending lots of money to get all these treaties and then a couple of turns later their hostile towards me and have cancelled everything. I have wanted to declare war on someon
Yay! More stuff added since this afternoon gents. Pics of units. Looking good. Can't wait.
Thanks for that, I wouldn't have thought to check again this soon!
We sold 10,000 copies of LH last week alone.
Cool, I was one of them and I'll be buying more stuff that you put out. Good to hear LH has a bright future! [e digicons]\o/[/e]
Not yet, they are scheduled to be released with the next Alpha version. Hopefully it will be out soon.
I plan to also spend some time playing it. I see some people still find bugs in the game that I'd like to try to fix if I can reproduce them.
Cool. No rush, despite my impatient side, I'd rather you guys be happy with the results before you release it to us. Looking at all the notes it's looking like it will be fun to try out the new changes. Enjoy your time with the latest Alpha of GalCiv3 this pa
Ah, sorry, forgot to update this. I finished my list and just have to check it in and get it to QA.
Thanks for the news! That makes me wonder how long it will be before being released, assuming that Q&A don't find any game breaking bugs. Definitely been enjoying myself with this game.
New comer to the Elemental party here. As I've been reading on the GalCiv3 forum for the past few weeks I've noticed posts about Elemental. Started reading them and then got an email about Stardock's sale so I bought FE:LH. I then bought all the DLC and then saw this and bought into this. I'm ready, bring it on! :D
What do I like least about this game? Well, first of all, I really dislike how this game has sucked me in. I was totally oblivious of this game but since joining the GalCiv3 Alpha I've seen posts about it, then I started to read the posts and then saw the Stardock sale and said why not? I've had no friggin' life since... I hate how I keep thinking about this silly game all day long and can't wait until I can play it again. I dislike how I pretend I'm into the show I'm
Yes, thanks for keeping us updated. Always helps with the waiting when you have a general idea of what to expect and look forward to. Anxious for this next update!
We'll get some new stuff up next week. They've been pushing for the June 5 milestone. Here are the things that have come across my desk: Completely new tech tree New planet screen Ships are no longer built on planets but rather in star ports that players launch into space (we plan to make them be able to be anchored and unanchored so that players can move them to other parts of the galaxy for dec
No, not that! [e digicons]8O[/e] Please, developers, we've seen the types of posts from DARCA when he's busy and occupied, please don't subject us to his bored posts!!! Come on, give the vault a little love. ;) Give the GalCiv world a few
Well... it was quiet in here... quite so.
Nice looking! Can't wait to start building and destroying them. :)
Thanks for the heads up. It's just a label. ;) Looking forward to this next pretty huge update coming out in the next week or so.
There are some really great ships in this thread. I'm new at this and here's my 4th attempt:
Farting around making colony ships with the cargo hull:
Yea and I know plenty of people who drop $100 on stuff they forget about the next day without batting an eyelash. But my point was to make you aware of how some people outside the bubble of SD regulars may perceive what you wrote.
I think you should have included what I put in. I'm not a fan boy, within the bubble, enthusiast, etc.
Hope this feedback is helpful.
Yes, very! I also just got to watch the Twitch stream you guys did and that helped to educate me a bit more. I'll have to give building a ship another try and see what my 2nd attempt comes up with now. Thanks.
Well, here's my first attempt at a Trooper ship using a cargo hull, I know, pretty crappy, but I'm new at this. :)
