I think THK just speaks her mind...which is a good thing. I'm sure she'd be entertaining liquored up. I do think it's good that she appologized...afterall like I said, i think she was just confused and not sure....it's not like Laura was rude about it either. I respect laura bush...however, her husband is a different story....
isn't that where Survivor is taking place?!
I know that both of your husbands serve and everything, so you would probably know more about how the inner minds of the military works...from a total outsider (being myself) that's just how the situation looks.
i agree with dean...my thoughts exactly!
Poor Lynndie England. I think she was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. I think that her superiors put her up to it. No one would do that unless a superior ordered them to...and now she's getting the brunt of it. (atleast that's my take on it...take it for what it's worth)

I haven't really read your blog before, this is the funniest article I've read durring my whole JU career! I will have to keep reading!
I never said that they weren't
and i'm definatley not saying that Laura Bush is lazy because I work in a library AND I'm studying to be a teacher.....Not to mention that I want to be a mother someday...
Jill--that's exactly what she said....and it's just my interpritation. Texas-It's okay...everyone gets in a mood. I don't think THK is the greatest person that ever lived or anything, but as I stated to Jill, that's how I interpreted her quote. Personally, I think she needs a wardrobe coordinator and a hair stylist...she always looks soooo sloppy.
All that Teresa Heinz Kerry said and I quote, "I am not sure if Laura Bush has even had a real job." She is just stating that she's not sure or not if she's been actually out in the work force...she's not bashing her for being a lazy bitch...she was just curious or not if she ever worked. Like the article in USA Today said...she was NOT SURE.<!-- Ju-Anchor-Footer-St
Why is it I only get huge responses whenever I talk about politics and 0 when I talk about life and what glorious events it has to offer?
Your kids are sooo cute! From reading many of your posts, you sound like a great mom!
this article brought a tear to my eye...very inspiring.
As I was exiting school today, I noticed that I had a flat tire...I thought to myself, "No big deal, I can be on the road in 20 minutes." Boy was I wrong.... So I attached the jack to my car and lifted it, and as I went to take the lugnuts off of the wheel, I realized that they had rusted on. Being the petite flower that I am, I was unable to make the lugnu

That's quite an ironic story...It made me chuckle.. i agree with the bumpersticker, but someone with a suped up lincoln...come on.
How many of your children are being bombarded with standardized test after standardized test? To me, it seems like for every grade level, there is some sort of standardized test that corosponds with it. The No Child Left Behind Act was passed in congress to aid in the reformation of public schools by setting standards in all of the core subjects, which students shou
i think it's funny because we are probably the only 2 kerry supporters on JU
to dz 1) Osama Bin Lauden--the initial person who is responsible for 9-11 is now long gone thanks to Bush and his need to fill his daddy's shoes. If his daddy would have done the job efficiently in the 90s then we wouldn't have to worry about saddam.... 2) If a teacher is in the game for the passion to teach, then why would one need standards? 3) Then why is this amendment worded to take rights away? Anyone who votes for
