Marcie: Wow...I hope that can happen...That sux that there is so much baggage these days. Sure...open them up....what kind of drama have you been causing!?
Marcie: What cute traditions! it sounds like your family really makes the most of the holidays 1999-ouch! That had to be rough! It's good though that you can now look back and laugh! Where in the world are your articles?? they aren't coming up...
locomama: that sounds like fun...I think decorating is the best! Dharma: what good memories! "...you can have Christmas any day you want it. Even in July, if you feel like it." That is so true. It's the people and memories that count.
You should take your show on the road! Here's what happened: In the state of NY, it is a requirement that children are to attend rotating school lessons and their performing arts ensemble. The lessons rotate, so that the child will not be missing the same class within an 8 week period. We are also required to have playing tests. I have made it a rule that if you do not play off your tests, the kids can't play in the concert. I c
**Inspired by Shovelheat** Okay JU...I want to know. What Christmas is your most memorable Christmas? Last year would have to be mine. Hardin and I spent the day in NYC. We stopped at a bar and had bailey's and hot cocoa. We then went to Ground Zero and over the Brooklyn Bridge. On the way home it started to snow. The second we got home we star
You guys are the freaking Partridge Family! hehe. I wish I had more parents who encouraged music in their homes like you do! I get the "It's only band/chorus" phonecall at least once a week. I almost quit my job because of an awful parent on Tuesday. Rock on!
Happy Holidays, FS! Hope you slow down and take a break from the craziness soon. Take care and see you around!
R- You are such a sweetie...this idea for an article is so theraputic for everyone involved. I figured out a way to get my general music kids to behaive---It;s all about competitions. I have a competition for the best classroom behavior. That has seemed to really take care of their disrespectfullness. Glad to hear you're feeling a bit better!
Dear Dubbya, You DOUCHE! Sincerely, AW
Dharma: Thank you!! I think you're absolutley right... I would imagine that things change from year to year...i mean...it all can't be smooth sailing after year 1. Wow..12 years!! How exciting!! Early congrats! Terpfan: Thank you!!
Marcie: Amen to that! It isn't about the dress or flower...it's about the people. I think people loose sight of that in the process of planning. Mano: Hey! Thank you...I know..it does seem like yesterday. Hope you're doing well!
Today is the one year anniversary of my marriage to Hardin. Boy does time fly! I couldn't ask for a better person to spend my life with. Since the moment we met back in 2001, I knew he was special. He did one thing that no one else had ever done before. He taught me how to laugh. Humility is very important in life. Being able to laugh at yourself, and
I think that being a parent is the toughest job out of all of them....you have to hold the answers to everything. There's no trial and error...I don't know how you guys do it! hehe.
dharma: Isn't it sick? It's so good to read that one youngin' (shea) is free thinking. That is one thing I thank God that my mom pushed me to do...think for myself... It's like these tramps are just laughing and spitting in the face of the mothers of women's rights. It's awful. Marcie: Isn't that show the worst? But I want THAT car. I want THAT dress....and you're absolutley right...the parents encorage it.
Marcie: First off...HEY!!! and Merry Xmas to you! I agree...it's a give and take. The media gives and gives, and we take, take, take. i also agree that each generation is completely different. Just look at what happened to MTV...hehe....afterall, we are the true MTV generation! lol.
I think I'm with Zoo. I am in the inner-outer crowd. At times I am in, and then I take a break...etc...
I believe the mind is a beautiful thing and a precious entity to waste. Each and every day I strive to be as smart as I possibly can. I am by no means Albert Einstein. I am a reader, an artist, and a free thinker. If I do not know something, I do not pretend to know it, but I do look it up. I encourage my students to do the same. If they do not know the answer t
I think this song is one of Tom Tom Club's best....I really want that CD!!
Don't forget to go to "Dego Hill" and get some good food! They have some kick ass Italian resturaunts and second hand shops out that way. St. Louis is a cool place...Hardin has some relatives out that way. I'm glad to hear you are regaining yourself. It's important to not lose yourself...I am going through similar things, myself. Like you, I'm quirky...I like to dress a certain way...and I like to wear my hair in a mohawk on occasion, bu
Tex: In most of the pics I've seen it looks like you do have a tint of red in your hair...all of them, except for the one that's posted above. Or, maybe I'm just colorblind...You are such a hottie! hehe.
"I always pictured Alison as having long blonde hair and being kinda tall. Haha. Her face is much like I would imagine it, though. She's a cutie. " If only I could be a tall blonde..Paris Hilton would have nothing on me...hehe. You're so sweet I pictured you average height with shoulder length mega curly red hair....At least I got the color right. Your personality
Make these next 6 months memorable. You guys are such a cute family! My prayers are with you!
mod: it was pretty attention getting, was it not?! Zoomba: well, since the country seems to be afraid of everything, I would rather be prepared than be stuck in a rut.
President Bush is busy throwing money away on the search for "weapons of mass destruction," while the avain flu threatens to wipe out the US. And to think, all of that money being spent on keeping friends and family way for something that has been labled as not being true could have been spent on a vaccine...... How can there be a war on a concept,
