inbloom: I'm the same way. It makes me feel insecure with myself if another woman does better than myself. I am really working on it. whoohoo for the sisterhood!!!
alison watkins
dr. guy: Maybe that's why most of us are such guy girls, because we are so over the crap!
dr guy: I wonder why this is so easy for men....hmmm...Thank you for being a sport!
KellyW: I totally understand what you're saying though. I am the same way...I think it's the other side of that story that need to be true to themselves. They are the ones filled with the hate. Dharma: I do find that ironic...most of us who have replied on this thread are guys' girls. I think that if Tex, Marcie, yourself, and a few others of us went out, it would be crazy!
tex: Interesting point. Isn't it funny how that works??
Go for it. Take your show on the road, K. You have the balls and the talent, why stop here? Follow your dreams and your heart. You make D proud...not to mention JU!
tex: I don't know what it is, but I agree, I think sometimes it's more fun to hang with the boys. Now if all the JU girls got together...that would be a different story. I think it is all about feeling threatened. Like in my story, the attention was not on me, it was some other girl. I am such a ham like that, it's bad. I really need to get my act together.
marcie: I totally understand. In a college environment, I thrived....for the exact same reasons you did...for being wacky. Here, everyone is always "too busy."
dharma: Hardin is the same way...he'd rather talk about something else! hehe. I am trying to think what he gets pissed at...hmm...maybe if his football teams aren't winning... Marcie: I'm sure you'd be fun irl. I've been here for almost a year and I am still convinced that I need a female friend...I am just wondering if I'm going to find any...
dr guy: so what do guys do? I honestly can't remember hardin ever dogging on some dude.
dharma: Me too. I just think it's unhealthy to have such hostility and sadness. Especially enough sadness to sabatoge another women (in the cases you were talking about).
to all (because I think we are all on the same page): I just think that if we stick together, rather than sabatoge eachother through ruining marriages and other personal attacks, that women can just rise above all of this petty crap. I just don't understand why some women do this to each other. Shouldn't we be proud of each other as a whole?
dharma: I agree. I think for the most part (there are always a couple exceptions), we have a pretty strong JU sisterhood. I am pretty much comfortable with everyone on here.
Loved the list! I am notorious for using too much tp, too! I'm notorious for: leaving lights on all over the apartment obsessing over disease and germs--maybe it's a teacher thing? watching trashy tv being crazy when i'm around my friends
momijiki: I think it prevents growth. We all have the power to rise above this.
locomama: There are some women that I admit, I really do not understand their intentions either! I think those kind of women are just really insecure. I think everyone needs to realize that we all hold beauty. I think that some of my former cattiness is natural to me because of my age. I think I'm finally growing out of that stage.
In case you did not know, supermodel Tyra Banks now hosts a talk show. Yesterday I was watcing and what was said really astounded me. I think it may have been a life changing experience....all from watching a silly talk show. Women. We are the nurturers of the universe. We can be creaters, lovers, workers, fighters, sexy, crazy, and so on and so forth al
Marcie: I think you'll miss the kids. You really have a talent. He needs to get busy with the bling! Dr. Guy: Sounds like I've missed a lot! ahh!! I need to get caught up Tex: It's so good to hear from you! How's life?
This is so beautiful. I said this before, but I honestly think it's the time apart that makes people realize what is special in their lives.
Me, ignore you...never!! We heart mod!
foreverserenity: Thanks! I can't wait until it's official!! Go for the haircut! i did a lot of online searching...just google short hair and see what comes up. Sounds like things are going well! Dr. Guy: Wow...I guess it was the final straw with Dabe. Glad to hear Marcie is back. I'll have to check out those other blogs! Good to see you!
k: I hate it when some stylists do not know how to cut short hair. Like you said in the article, those pieces need to be there!!! I'll be checking my inbox.
Wow, have I missed JU. So what's been going on here? Have I missed any good drama...or do i even want to know? What is new with everyone? Here's some things that are going on with me.... Hardin is away in Portugal until the 26th I'm going to Ohio over Thanksgiving Chrissy asked me to be in her wedding! My friend Brian who had Leukemia passed a
Marcie: Hey girl!! How are things up north? How's school? Good news...I passed my NY tests! One more stupid hoop (a music test) and I will finally be certified...and in the winter, they have a position opening!!! Inbloom: Hello!!! It's so good to hear from you. How's school? I'm a Believer is really starting to come together..hehe...anyways...it's good to be back! Mano: Thank you!! I missed you <img src="../images/smile
dharma: I'M SOOOOO HAPPY TO SEE YOU HERE!!!!!!! I MISSED JU SOOOOO MUCH! I'm shouting, too
