Reply to IconPackager won't replace small folder icons in IconPackager WinCustomize Forums

I have noticed that IconPackager does not always (or not at all?) replace the registry entries, where file types and their icons are stored (HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT). So, some programs or routines ignore the IP override but take the icon information directly from the registry. Those are file open/close dialogs, and Total Commander for example also displays the standard folder icons. A total mess you get if you let software like IrfanView set the icons for image file types. Oh, thanks for the answers. There are definitely no Pirate cursor themes on my harddisk, so I resume I purchased after the update. Damn, somehow I'm always late to the party ... ;p I'll try an e-mail to Stardock, perhaps there is still a CursorXP file hangin' around somewhere ... :D

First thing: In some applications there is some white space around the buttons. That doesn't look very nice: Seems as if there is a transparency missing. But I don't know much about skinning. :p Second thing: Where is the cursor theme??? I can apply wallpapers, gadgets, icons and WindowBlinds, but there is nowhere a CursorXP or -FX-theme to be found .

I have two monitors connected and would like to run the animated wallpaper only on the second monitor. My primary screen is heavy loaded with windows, I don't see a single pixel of the wall. Right now when I apply a Dream it appears on both monitors. The waving grass uses 10-15% CPU, when running only on one monitor it would consume less CPU - I wonder? (Dual Core T7200, Nvidia GeForce Go 7900 GS, Vista Home Premium)

Oooh, until I read this thread I thought I was the only one adoring Office 2007. Thanks guys! :CONGRAT: The ribbon is so much easier to use than the old menu stuff. And you should definitely check out OneNote. You can put everything that looks like a note in it. Websites, snippets, thoughts, plans, mind maps, to-dos ... every sort of information you don't know where to put: put it in OneNote. :)

Yeah, I wonder if there will be any time when I can use this icon package. On XP I couldn't use it because it crashed IconX and/or explorer.exe regulary - and that's because of the Vista-ready-256-pixel-icons. OK, fine, Vista-ready is good I thought. After returning from hibernate state, the cursor falls back to Windows default. I have to apply the cursor theme again. Happens to any cursor theme. When moving the mouse around very fast, CPU comsumption goes up. CursorFX takes up to 20% CPU speed then. I'm using Vista Home Premium on an Intel Core 2 T7200 with a nVidia Geforce Go 7900 GS graphics card.

I'm trying it out, works fine, indeed. The only problem: The Aston startmenu is not visible with WindowBlinds loaded. Just a black square on mouse over. This flaw I have on 5 PCs, 2 Desktops and 3 Laptops, very different configurations. Does anyone have this problem, too? Could it be solved?

You have some color management setting in Photoshop that displays the colors of the image close to a possible print. When printing books, what on the screen is blue turns out to be purple, so there is a color management to imitate the end color of the book.
