That is a good demonstration -- but I have never been able to get Explorer Backgrounds to work on my computer. I use Vista Home Premium with 4GB RAM, an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Duel-Core Processor, and an NVidia 7300LE graphics board with 256 MB RAM (and the ability to use up to 2 GB of RAM by borrowing from the main RAM). I use two monitors, one a 20" standard format and one a 20" widescreen.

I did simplify your procedure somewhat -- I found the directory you told me in the backup, copied the sound packages, and pateted them directly into the proper place in Documents & Settings. SDC doesn't know I have CursorFX Plus in Customization Software WinCustomize Forums

Despite my pointing SDC repeatedly to the directory where my CursorFX executable is (C:\Program Files\Stardock\CursorFX) using the registration applet in SDC and supplying the correct registration code, SDC cannot seem to figure out that I do actually have CursorFX already installed. On Vista, ATI is just as good as nVidia -- they both have equally flaky drivers. Though I'm beginning that its a Microsoft problem, since every graphics board manufacturer I can think of also has flaky Vista drivers. And a lot of scanners, and printers, and modems, and network cards, etc, etc, etc...hopefully, MS will improve this situation in SP1...

I figured this one out -- the [I]title [/I]of the Sound Package may be one thing (and that's what shows up in Icon Packager) -- but the [I]file name [/I]may be something else, and that's the order in which the packages are listed.

I use AVG Internet Security -- costs money (but not too much -- it's definitely cheaper than Norton, and without any of Norton's irritating quirks or it's performance hit), and it's an integrated solution that works much bettr than even the free version of AVG -- or, IMHO, Norton.

I do have OD Plus. I [I]can [/I]simply drag it to the right edge of the secondary monitor -- but it only stays there until I reboot, restart, or turn the computer back on, at which point it goes back to the primary monitor (whatever edge I specified in Dock Settings), and I have to drag it back to the right edge of the secondary monitor. I am using Object Dock on Vista Home Premium, and two monitors. The primary is on the left, and the secondary on the right. Is there some way to dock the Object Dock to the right side -- the right side of the secondary monitor (i.e. all the way to the right)? I can easily dock it on the right side of the primary, but not the secondary.

SCP Icon used as TXT Icon by Icon Packager in Icons WinCustomize Forums
