Windows or Linux? in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

Hey, if i wanted to write script for guestbooks, chat, forums (like this one), flash, html, javascript,order forms, etc. would a windows server (ASP enabled) or linux server (PHP enabled) be better. In other words, would guestbooks, forums, etc. be better in php&cgi or asp&cgi. Also, what does this site use? cause thats basically what i want. Right now comparing HostMySite to Netfirms and Linux is soo much cheaper.

yeah yahoo is reliable. What I do sometimes is take one from each (usually mapquest and yahoo) and then if one isn't clear on a specific location i look at the other. Or if one (talking about directions now) says turn left and one says stay going straight youll know that you will have the option to turn right or veer left. SSONE

Remember, if the kids actually WANT to turn the filters off, and willingly make that change, then you have another problem on your hands. I agree with the above comment. This Gallery at WC is great, but moderated not always for quality, sometimes for uniqueness or style. I definitly agree with sleeping dragon. What I think is my best work gets rejected too. I think they like having a whole different variety of wallpapers. SSONE

Hey just wondering if its a one-time payment (of $19.95) to subscribe. If it is does this subscription last as long as my account is alive? If it isnt a one-time payment the order page is not clear on if it is monthly/yearly/etc. thanks

Graphics section a pain... in WinCustomize Site Issues WinCustomize Forums

The graphics section contains page after page of icons! When you want to find a quick simple graphic you have to browse through tons of icons too. If I wanted icons I would go to the icons section. I dont know if others mind this, but just pointing it out. The new site looks great!
