Back in '02 when Iwas heavily into win98 desktop themes there was an author that put one out that was mixed with a WindowBlind..from that moment on I knew that I had to find out more about WBs and how I could have them!..LoL The theme was Ghostbusters..

Very good point, trends do set a tone for rating just as much as anything else. Take the transparency crazy when wb5 first came out or continuing ones like the "Vista" cloning stuff... so on and so forth Way to go pictoratus on some further insight, as WOM said. Im a soooooo very sick of Vista.
Tha answer to that is no. By displaying a wall unobscured you are effectively making it available for download. It isnt real difficult to "lift" images off of walls suchs as "Sys's" "Rainy's" "Start Menus" etc''etc with todays graffix programs, or simply "remove" them.. I guess my question

I really didn't see too much of anything SUPER except for a few really good ideas and designs.And even with that, too many skins had to be tweaked after they left the drawing board.Nothing was perfect 'out of the box'. I dont know Mr B, "Cha Ninja" is a pretty well done WB "out of the box" <br

Giving credit to the artists involved should be the main purpose of the shot, if it were not for their creations you would not have that desktop to show off... Sure, you could argue that you are showing your talent for "arranging" the items that you have collected...but those items were struggled over for days, perhaps weeks by a skinner/artist that provided it (in most cases) free of any charge except for your enjoyment... Actually night before last I was completely locked out of the site for 3-4 hours.. probably due to maintenence and actually.... The site *Has* been getting better I admit, im getting fewer and fewer server errors and the load speeds are picking up.. Thanks guys!

Blender is free. It may be free but it definitely will involve a "Learning Curve"... I downloaded it, opened it up, it definitely is a world apart from the normal graphics progs.. It is mainly hotkey based, so thats one minor thing to learn (the Hotkeys and what they do, theres ALOT of them
