My point? If I have to upgrade my system system to run Longhorn than no thanks I don't want it. Not everyone has money lying around to use for computer upgrades. If you start saving your change now, at the rate MS is moving forward with Longhorn, you may well have plenty of cash to build/upgrade a syste

If XP satisfies your computing experience 100% then I guess you won't, right? Wrong... With each OS that MS releases it has been getting better..Nobody has said that XP doesnt have room for improvement, just that their isnt any "Bad expierences" to speak of... I am anticipating Longhorn, h

Nothing wierd about it at all, "Apple" was the code name of the project, the very first "Apple" made..which was pretty much just a circuit board that you had to build a case for yourself..LoL. They kept the name and used other project codenames for future systems. For example, XP was codenamed "Whisper".. Hope this solves the mystery for you, Zero.

Thats a tough call Sid, I personally would say dont worry about it everything should be fine..But in reality you wont know until you put it all together and power it up again.. To bad you cant throw a spare "test" system together and see if it all works, that way at least you would know for sure.. Im thinking you'll be fine.. A friend of mine had a system fry due to poor wiring in his house, totally "cooked" the MoBo, so I replac

Kona, a bad Motherboard will usually just beep at you, more times than not, if it isnt beeping away to a very annoying tune then the probelm is most likely something else..not in all cases but more than 85% of the time. Looks like you "cured" it for the time being..just wanted to give you a heads up about MoBo's.. If they are shorted out they will beep, if the sautered connections are no longer making the "connection" they will beep. etc, etc.

Looks nice. It looks like you got one of those kits where you put the pieces together to make the case. I was thinking about coming up with several ideas for Mods and build them. Just getting the time and money is the problem. We'll see.... Sorry I didnt answer this sooner Sid, this week has been

DZ, I would love to have the seasons. I just haven't had the extra $ yet to buy them. I've been watching them since season 1. I even liked it before they came out with SG-1. I loved the original movie, but I enjoy the cast for SG-1 better. I completely understand about the "Xtra Cash" part! I buy them a
