My mom would just watch and see if we weren't playing with a toy and then she would take it hide it for a month. Then if we didn't ask for it she would then get rid of it (thrift store or trash). Didn't know this until I was older. AD

I am sure my mom can relate as she had three boys. My mom threw out football cards. Among those cards was a Terry Bradshaw rookie year in mint condition. But I don't blame her for doing so. Thanks for sharing . AD
I am speechless. That's like people bein appauled because I killed a mosquito that bit me. This brings absurd to a whole new level. Amazing. Thanks for sharing. SAVE THE MOSQUITOES!
I guess I am happy in the stone age with Warcraft II I also like Starcraft. Haven't ventured much further
This was the second time I have EVER given blood and although I was only able to give 1 RBC it was a much more delightful than last time. Less pain.
Sounds like you're in pretty good shape. Did you get bitten by the bike bug? I didn't get bit by the bike bug. It tried to bite but I bit back . No I am tired of the professional racing life. I know severa
I gave blood on Wednesday and the race was last saturday. Made sure my body recovered from such race.
Here in my part of the world of Durango, CO we have a bicycle race that began off a bet or racing the steam engined train from Durango to Silverton. Durango has an elevation of 6500ft and Silverton is 9300ft. In between are two mountain passes. One that summits 10,610 and the other 10,900ft. Here is a link to a map. <a href="http://www.ironhorsebi
but if it is you and your feeling are hurt or you feel insulted, is it up to the other party to decide if you are insulted or hurt? no I am saying that it is party a that decides. There are rare cases where people just want to have a reason to be mad at you. It happens. But if you can find
The United Blood Service was doing a blood drive where I worked. After our previous discussions here on JU I decided to give some of my life saving red liquid. I thought I wasn't going to be able to give as my resting heart rate was below 45. I was at 43 bpm. But they asked if I exercised more than 2 hours a week. The first piece I don't like is the prick of the
It's always an interesting scenario when such things happen. For me I find a good discussion takes place. Often times it's a matter of expecations or a misunderstanding that leads to the feelings being hurt.
You had mentioned something earlier about coping and dealing with a long distance relationship. I just wanted to give you are perspective I have that has really helped me in life in general. You cannot control how others act only how you react. Really focusing on how you act is all you can really do. Every morning you have a choice about your attitude for the day. And you have a choice whether you will allow what others do effect
None of this matters if there isn't C-O-M-M-I-T-M-E-N-T. You'll never humble yourself nor care for the person as you would if you were commited to the relationship.
I've based too much of my life believing that I have to be a whole, complete person without a man. Sugar, Granted. Let me clarify a bit more on what I was trying to say. I am not saying that there should be a direct dependence or leaning on each other. This is not healthy. I am all for being
People do make it work. I hope Adventure Dude will pop on here. If I'm not mistaken, he and his fiancée have been together for several years now and are VERY far apart geographically. Just for the record. My fiance and I only physically seen each other for 4months out of the 18 months. The majori
We actually had a good conversation today. Not about the realtionship or anything, just a good conversation. I think he may have been going through a phase and, after his "boy's weekend" he's having this weekend, I think he'll be much more refreshed. conversation 'GOOD' <img src="http://images.stardock
Be sure to let him know how much you appreciate it when you talk. and that it let's you know that it shows he cares.
It helps that I just started running in the mornings (6am, blah) and I'll be going to bed earlier. Exercise is a great for releasing pinned up frustration (not just relationship). It is also a safe haven for thinking and clearing your mind. Also going to bed earlier you will see that with these two t
The problem is we're long-distance which means he ends up leaving his friends to go home and call me, and I think the strain of having to choose is getting to him. I understand long-distance. In my relationship I have only seen her for 4 months out of our 17 months of relationship. Here is what I see.
The things women go through for their man. We are ungrateful for the pain and suffering. But give credit to those out there who can take a horrific experience and make us laugh.
Wow, That was totally me just a few years ago. Because you care for others and long for that interaction with others you will not be satisfied (take it from someone who has been there). It is only a mirage on the horizon of this lonely desert. I live in a college town. I am one of the few people my age that am able to stay here and live. The problem with that is all my friends leave looking for jobs. I can relate to you. I do
It sounds to me that there is a lack of communication taking place. Because men are typically not very good communicators they are at fault. Plus as everyone knows women are relationship beings. I mean all you want is affection, attention, and a little APPRECIATION. That pretty much sums up all you want. Men don't realize that (I am still learning) when we do this women will respond according what we want. My thoughts: Do
I think the point is that it was no single group at 'fault' but that there were many. Even still though to associate you with many generations ago is sad. That's like the blacks going up to a white person and scrutinizing them for slavery. It's misplaced anger that shouldn't be there. The piece I don't understand is every race, every ethnicity has their black eye. Some just realize it less than others. I think this was good to get peopl
Hmmm, it seems I ruined all the fun? *hangs head and walks off*
