Well, Buff, I dunno about a disclaimer. DesktopX has worked fine for me on Windows10, I don't see how/why it would damage anyone's system.
Just because it works for you does not mean it will work for others. It was dropped for numerous reasons, instability being one I'm sure. I know it was unstable and buggy as hell for me on different systems, ok on others.

Looks great Jim! Might I advise that you include a STRONG disclaimer in the description that DX is not supported by Stardock and may harm/damage your system by using it. You can't even download it now without a subscription. I don't even know if you get get it if you buy a new subscription either.

Having installed Win10 on hundreds of systems I've found a HUGE bottleneck with hard drive activity on boot. Not entirely sure what it is that is happening but it drove me nuts on my home PC. (Dell XPS8500). Boot time was unbearable with my SATA drive with nearly 4-5 mins before disk usage was below 100%. I invested 90 bux on a Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD. Now, from the time I see the BIOS log to a usable desktop... less than 10 seconds. <

They are including an adapter in the box that will allow you to connect standard headphones. It won't be too long until wireless headphones take over anyway. Thinner does not necessarily mean it will break easier either. The alloys they are using in these things are getting better. However, if you are stupid enough to have a $700 phone that you don't have in a protective case I suppose you are actively seeking a damaged product. I've always put my iphones i

One section of concern and information to share. According to the article... The game’s app permissions require you to give it full access to your location and camera, alongside full access to your Google account, so players sign away their right to object almost immediately upon playing the game That was true at the onset but is no longer true IF YOU DO THIS... 1. and the name calling begins .. bullshit! I don't give a damn how many times it comes up as long as it isn't the same person bringing it up. It is an OBVIOUS concern that you would have to be blind to miss. The fucking high horses around here.. Kudos to Lightstar for at least putting out a free one once in awhile and still keeping his prices reasonable.

When most new people come to the site and consider trying Windowblinds they simply are not going to pay for themes. Combined with the fact that you cannot get a complete themed experience with it anymore, there just is no incent
There is nothing we can do. IP5 was simply unable to parse the backup information it had stored from the registry for some associations on an OS it was not designed for and uninstalling deletes the file that contains that information so IP10 couldn't use it. IP10 IS able to parse it correctly hence installing IP10 rather than uninstalling a product which clearly warned against installation.

If you have IP 5.x installed on Windows 8/10 DO NOT uninstall it before installing IP10. Doing so will cause damage to icon associations that IP10 will not be able to fix.
That is extremely sad that an application cannot be uninstalled without hosing your system. That issue should have been addressed LONG ago so folks would not be left in that scenario.

Installed on a Win10 Pro x64 VMWare VM. Took a snapshot of the VM first though. Applied a package and all looked well. Applied Windows default package. ... the icon for Icon Packager went to a generic blank icon ... the icon for Internet Explorer went to a generic blank icon Uninstalled IP. Internet Explorer Icon still broke. Had to right click on it and change icon. That fixed it.
Windows & WindowBlinds is Of course better from a customization point of view.
Windowblinds - cannot skin several parts of the OS thus making your total OS experience looking half baked. Windowblinds - cannot skin Start menu unless you install another application which reverts you backward to a legacy start menu
WB's to skin the Win10 Start Menu
Windowblinds does NOT skin the Win10 start menu. I skins a Windows 7 start menu that start10 creates. The native WinX menu (which I believe the OP is talking about.. right click on start button... not the Start10 right click menu either) I don't believe WB skins that either. If you want Windows 10 experience then you are

Uggggh.. very disappointed. Ok.. so if you want your start menu to be skinned, you still have to rely on having Start10 installed and set to either Windows 7 Style or Modern Style. Still can't manage to get it to skin the native start menu ( Windows 10 style ). I suppose that is a limitation from MS eh? You know how I stand on this. I'm not going to keep living in Windows 7 land of start menu. All I get out of this is a taskbar and window

That was the first probability that I considered, but that fabrication is exactly how WB should be done on win10.
