I went to a local computer store with one simple question in mind: " When is Half-Life 2 going to be released?" You see, back in the day, it was supposed to be released in March. Hell, I have a coupon I got with my 9800 ATI videocard that gets me a free copy. March came and went, and then it was May. Then July. Then September. Now, apparently, it will be rele

I found this chatroom that caters to the type of people that I want to talk to, and I wish there was a ban feature. I was chatting in a gay chatroom, having a great time for once, when some loser kid from austrialia come in to tell us, in his borken spelling, that " all gays must die and he was going to do it." I asked how, and he said that he was going t
I would like to point out, before you read the body of this article, I do not side with the people in this case. I think that it is interesting that since hte time of the case and the media uprise of pulbicity on the release from prison of Mary Kay Latourneau, that the issue has come full circle and came back with a vengence. The television tells me that jsut
Well...some people care. Like in real life, people get attached and form cliches. A lot of people cna be a lot hasher in their online life their online life than their real life because of the fact that it is online. I have posted this before, and I think it still applies: If you put yourself out there, expect the good and the bad. If people don't like you, then that is their problem. If they like you, a bonus. But, you have to unde
Like 2.7 million people in the last couple weeks, I the household I live in has embraced the Sims 2. Were it not bad enough that The Sims was a terribly addictive game in its own right, the Sims 2 is jsut a million times bigger. Since there are four people in the house, and at the moment only 2 computers that can handle it, the playing time has been stagnant.
One of the things that I miss about living in a big city is not the noise, or the people, or anything like that. It is the ability to go see a movie when it opens in the theaters. The theaters in my new town leave something to be desired. For instance, the local theater here just got Hero and THe Princess Diaries 2. The second week I got here, Alien Vs. Pred

I wish I had a drink right now. It is really late, and my bed called me a long time ago. When my light was turned off, and the pillow excepted my head for dream ready position, my mind would not shut down. My own mind kept calling me a loser. How is that for not so sane? I used to get that a lot back in the days when my wayward teenage years
When I moved, 23 days ago, I was insistant that I was on some great adventure. I was finally getting out of a city that did nothing for me anymore, and I was off to explore a strange new world. Now, I wonder. I got into two fights with one of my roomates today over the computer. First, let me explain. I sleep in a room with two computers a
thank you Janders!
Almost seven years ago, I got introduced to a game that changed my life for quite some time. At hte time, there was only one game like it, and that was Ultima: Online. Tha game sucked, so I tried this new one tht me and a friend got into the beta for. Everquest was something that had never really been around before. With the beta access, i picked one of the t
I read a quote that a friend showed me the other week a quote from rapper and famous Public Enemy frontman, Chuck D: " The internet is color blind!" Is that so? Another friend was telling me about this article that he read in Playboy about race-bending. The subject had to do with a white boy going onto the internet to a room for the up and coming rap
thank you or the info, like I said, I only had their webpage and some beta players to go on.
I don't think it is her whole life driven by her ego, but I think a lot of it has to do with losing her husband. They had been married a long, long time and that might really have unhinged her. If that is the case, I still don't think that it should take a public forum of blasting to vent other frustrations and emotions. But, hey, what do I know? I'm not a grieving author.
When I opened up a email from Blizzard entertainment a few months ago, I was a little shocked. I had signed up at the earliest possible date to join the World Of Warcraft beta and didn't make it into the first run. No matter, as a EQbeta tester, sometimes beta testing can be alittle bit of a hassle. After all, you are playing so that the developers can work the bugs o
A couple of weeks ago, there was a intense rush going through all the gamers I knew in my old town. With the death of True Fantasy Live Online, the future of the Xbox relied on one other game coming out. That game, ladies and gentlemen, is Fable. THe epic RPG that judges you on every little dicision you make affects you in some way down the road. Sound familiar? There
SO much better than he original, but unfortunately, a lot more addictive...every one in the house (all 4 of us) are hooked..good, it is way too time consuming. Thank god for the money cheat
Accoding to the author, OotP was the longest book for her to write, so I guess it was more along the lines that it was meant to be like it was. The second time arround was better, more because you knew that Harry was going to be whiny and angsty
I couldn't agree more withthat statement
As some of you might already read, Anne Riceis angry. USers of the site Amazon.com have been leaving less than flattering remarks about her final book in the Vampire Chronicles, andher career, and she isn't happy about it. A spokesperson for Amazon.com said: " If she choose to read and reply to the reviews, that is her decision. People may post what
Harrry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is on it's way. It has been a littel over two years since R.K. Rowling had released the mixed bag that was Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix. As many Harry Potter fans, I eagerly await news on the newest book by hitting R.K.'swebsite. When I found out that not only the title had been picked, but she was actually
So, I have moved. I have been in my new, smaller, more compact town for three weeks as of tomorrow. I have fallen into a funk. I immediately noticed too many differences in the first week. One, the movie theater plays hit movies...over a month after they ,would have hit my other town. that might not say a lot, but we just got Alien Vs. Predator
Well, it's been awhile, but I am back. Moving is a bitch. The topic of discussion, which has awaken me at 6:30 in the am is Sony Entertainment's plans to move their gaming console forward. Like the first playstation, the Playstation 2 has moved into a newer design spectrum that is a little disturbing. http://news.gaminghorizon.com/media/1095733748.ht
