Oh and I did find this interesting. In a survey of one thousand infertility patients with frozen embryos, 60% report that they are likely to donate their embryos to stem cell research. This could result in 2000 to 3000 new embryonic stem cell lines for research. and um, where exactly in there did it say that they want to spend our tax dollars to pay for the research? Donating unwanted items is not the same as forking over hard earned cash.

There is so much potential that they might find cures for Juvenile Diabetes, Alzheimers and Parkinson's. and maybe it will turn lead into gold.....

Way to go, being so price conscious. I don't even want to know how much more we spend on groceries than we ought to. I guess that's one detail that marks the difference between savvy homeowners & clueless renters-for-life. Hehe. Actually it's the difference between being a skinflint and a normal person.

So I'm sitting here, reading my email with a bowl of plain ol' Cheerios. There is a generous handful of fresh blueberries floating in them. As I try to get a bite of cereal with only one or two blueberries (so they last through the whole bowl) I am struck with a flashback. As a child, I grew up on KI Sawyer AFB in the UP (Upper Peninsula of Michigan) and

Dana, first of all you are invited to Maryland with OPEN ARMS, Thank you. I know it sounds weird, but it's almost like the thought of doing anything fun is an impossibility. I could list all the reasons it won't work, but give me time. Maybe I can find a way to work it out. I like the idea of trapezi

You know how in scary movies, there is a point where a character realizes that everything has gone horribly, horribly wrong and then they are frantically trying to figure out how to stop it? Of course, their red shirt prevents them from seeing a solution. I wonder how I got to this point, you know. I see myself heading toward doom, gloom and destruction and

ALWAYS check the measurement guide or fit guide. I've been anywhere from a perfect 6 to finding that 14 was too small! When I order online, I like to call and ask if the items run small as well. some places are labling clothes smaller (an 8 is labled as a 6) to make women "feel" better. Who cares. I'm not small but it's just a label.

So tonight was the last day that Trapeze-experience was going to be in Austin. I was signed up for the very last class at 7 pm. A friend of mine was bringing a friend from out of town with us to fly as well. We all loaded into her little bitty car. The kids and I crammed into the back seat. For those who don't know or don't' remember, I was in a fair

America's immigration policy is utterly defective, from start to finish. Allow millions of unskilled, uneducated peasants incapable of performing any other than the lowest valued tasks to stream across your border virtually unhindered while making those who can contribute in high-value areas jump through innumerable hoops at near
