WOOO HOOOO! I am finally done with this semester! Finally, the nightmare is over. Actually, it wasn't that bad, but my fluff class was hard and the other was a lot of essay work and HORRIBLE exams. I can't express the level of irritation I felt with my Philosophy instructor. I think he made his exams impossible just to see if anyone would quit. You were

I tore this out of a magazine when I was in high school and ran across it again recently.....more women need to hear this.

“A woman is often measured by the things she cannot control. She is measured by the way her body curves or does not curve, by where she is flat or straight or round. She is measured by 36-24-36 and inches and ages and numbers. By all the outside things that don’t ever add up to who she is on the inside. And so if a woman is to be measured, let her be measu

You are very talented. Thanks. What kind of camera do you use? Are you going to make this an on-going job? I have a Nikon D70 (Digital SLR) and I am thi

Human cell-line cultures are used during production of some vaccines such as varicella, rabies, inactivated polio virus, and hepatitis A. Some of these cell lines originated from fetal tissue obtained from legal abortions of infected fetuses in the 1960s. The term "cell-line culture" refers to the substance that is used to propagate a live virus (used in the production of a vaccine). Fetal tissue has not been used to produce licensed vacc

I thought about getting the videos after your comments...but OUCH! they are pricey! I'll hope that I find a few on sale on ebay individually.... And now to be mean...(sorry) As precious as his little insight was, later I felt compelled to explain to him...although Abinadi died by fire (wouldn't that be awful?), he

And there it is, put so eloquently I can think of no better way to say it. My life was changed by Life’s arrival in it, because it finally came into focus. I’d found someone about whom I gave that final, total damn, and she did the same for me. thanks boy. That's exactly how I feel. My life is so much

hmmmm. First thought about the apparent lack of concern by some posters regarding the future crisis in world food supply. We should be concerned about countries shifting thier food growing potential to fuel crops. They will still need food, but they will then have to import it. Let's think this out. We start planting bio-fuel crops instead of food. The price of fuel goes down....the price of food (now at a greater demand) goes up. The law of supply and demand wi

The more experienced, fresh troops we can get over there the better, I think. So you rotate in and out, and what I want is a financial disincentive from lying about what the timing of it will be. <TD class="mb-

I wonder though, how many people simply read your headline, skipped the article itself, and repeated the 'bad info' elsewhere? point noted...see new headline. Thx. It's

With so many broken 'promises' about deployment and re-deployment and re-re deployment I can see why you would sent an email like this Hmmmm. I guess sarcasm didn't translate well. Just FYI, we were warned about the possiblity of thes 12 month tour being 15 months....BEFORE they left. I don't feel like there was a broken promise and I was not mad. I was being smart alecky with the rear d because so many wives are emailing and calling him to verify ru

I miss living in Nado and hearing Hell week start about 2200 hours with artillery sims going off, machine guns firing and having that wonderful feeling that it was someone else getting the crap knocked out of them. makes your own life seem much nicer, doesn't it?

oh come on....didn't anyone like my email back? I thought it was hillarious. I guess non-military types don't get the whole RUMINT (rumor intel.) nightmare that *most* spouses tend to feed off of. I am one of the few sane spouses in my DHs unit and I like to give the rearD a hard time. He puts us with wives who are SERIOUS when they ask stuff like that. Oh well. I guess nobody gets my sense of humor.

There was a postscript.... I hope you understand that I'm just trying to give you a hard time....... He just responded with.... I do, and I hope you understand that I must destroy you regardless...
