It is just another notch in a long list of abuses that happen with loop holes from throwing money at problems.Exactly. I second that!

I just got burned on my taxes so I'm a little bitter about this.....
According to AP: TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - With large swaths of the Gulf Coast still in ruins from Hurricane Katrina, rich federal tax breaks designed to spur rebuilding are flowing hundreds of miles inland to investors who are buying up luxury condos near the University of Alabama's football stadium. About 10 condominium projects are going up in and around Tus
Thanks, LH...I wasn't feeling quite old enough when I got up this morning... sorry about that. *snicker snicker*
I thought about getting a greenscreen but it didn't occur to me to make one. I know a few people who have them and they bought the heavy stiff backgrounds. Any chance you might post a picture of your setup? I'd like to see how you pull it tight and cover the floor....Did you use two pieces?
your skills make me feel amateurish. I've never seen your stuff....why don't you post something so I can ohh and ahh and make you feel happy?
You may remember the fact that I decided to start doing photography as a "well paying hobby" instead of just a hobby. I figure that I'll only get better with practice, so I built a backdrop out of pvc pipe and $1 fabric from walmart. Here is a test shot of boy in said backdrop. I can't wait to do some more work with this. Unfortunately, he was tucking his
You and your husband make gorgeous children why thank you! *beam* I think they are pretty darn cute.

If you didn't catch a previous article, I'll say it again.....Hyperborean Wanderer will very shortly (at an unspecified date) be wandering a lot less. He is in fact, coming home for R&R. His son is understandably excited. He keeps telling me how that "when I see my dad at the airport, I'm going to run up and hug him so fast that he falls down!" To

I just read what is going on. I am so sorry that you are struggling with this. I hope that he listens to you and returns before he is DFR. I have seen soldiers go AWOL and learan from their mistakes...eventually serving the rest of thier contract and gaining an honorable discharge. There is hope. And this one mistake is not irreparable yet. My prayers with you.
This is how returning heroes should be welcomed home! I almost wish I knew someone in Dallas who would meet us at the airport so they could get a video of the kids seeing their dad again. It will be almost 300 days since they saw him last and I'm sure it will be a tear jerker.
Link there were a lot of good ones....I'm actually wondering if his last return is caught on video somewhere...
Let's be clear here. I'm such a dork. I KNEW this would make me cry. But I couldn't stop. Link Link Link <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tFU5qu0
Glad to see I'm not the only person who gets excited about paper!
, on the other hand, have settled into a warm puddle of used-to-was...the old 1SG days are far behind You don't fool me. I bet you could pull it out if you wanted to....I've heard stories about you and I think that I would have learned a lot had I been in your unit.
All the discussion about medical rights had me thinking.... Should terminally ill cancer victims who have failed to respond to all standard treatments for their condition have the right to be prescribed and administered drugs which are still undergoing pharmaceutical investigation and are not approved by the FDA for use? Aponte was a big, powerful (in many ways) seriously scary man that NO ONE challenged. I wanted to be just like him." I lthink you did. At one point you told me something....with the 1SG look in one eye and the protective Dad look in the other. After discussing it with HW, I realized I only saw the
I'm going to add my 2 cents here too. I know how you feel. I know EXACTLY how you feel cause I am in the same boat. It doesn't matter what anyone says, it's still frustraing to hear that obnoxious voice in the back of your head critisizing yourself. I'm right with you on that. That being said, turn the lights down a bit, put some sexy music on and dance. Feel good about how curvy and sexy you are. Then get dressed, turn the light
And here I was trying to be cool and beat you to the punch by posting mine early!
I pulled this out of one of my scrapbooks....Happy B-Day Angela! Have a wonderful day!
Update on the bank front. The idiot who answered the phone last night was a moron. I wasn't much happier after talking to a new person today but it is an improvement. The "charges" are pending. Apparently there is occasionally a glitch in the system from Iraq. It takes a few days to process. In the meantime, there are three "holds" pending. I can't get them removed untill the 9th which is when they will actually "process". The woman on
