Forward: I tried to post this at about 5 am but Joeueser was not cooperating, so imagine yourself with your morning coffee or whatever, bleary-eyed and just starting your day.... Sometime before 4:30 this morning, (I don't know when because I refused to open my eyes), I was awakened by the sounds of my daughter Maddy and her friend Sophia laughing. I pr

So I woke up and realized that with HWs recent departure that I forgot that payday was on Friday...I was supposed to pay bills! EEEKKK! I logged on, hoping that I could get everything paid before there was a late charge. Sometimes my bank can take a buisness day or two to get an online payment completed...or maybe it's the creditors? Anyway, I logged on to
You mean other than your son's knee in the standing pose? good eye. I have to go back and fix that....
So, update.....he is officially gone. The kids were remarkably laid back about it. They were more focused on the fact we had Froot Loops than they were on saying goodbye. We watched out the window and saw him get on the plane and then I took Connor to school...that was the only clue that he was feeling HW departure: He asked his teacher if he could keep his puppy with him in class today.
great story!
That is the coolest thing I've ever seen! How did you do that? Combine a couple different pics with Photoshop. It's addictive...
50cents to the person who spots the mistake.
No drooling on the car. HW will kill you.

I think that for little kids (Pee Wee level) that it is a great idea to have teams where anyone can play. Teach the kids to be good sports, learn the basics, learn to lose even. So they get a fat kid who can't run fast, who cares? They will have to learn that sometimes you are thrown in with people that are not motivated or talented. Suck it up and learn. That being said....as kids get older, I think it's great to have "traveling teams" or
stockpile episodes oh yeah, that's fantastic.....I love to do that and then watch 5 episodes of Lost etc all at once. It makes the cliffhangers less frustratiing!
I have a DVD-R but not not a DVR that you pay a fee for (via the cable company) I went out and just bought one outright at Best Buy. Just like the one's you have...I can record oodles of tv on the HD, do the whole insta-playback and pause while I'm recording and I can edit out the commercials and burn it to disk. (or play cd/dvd/dvd-r/dvd-rw) It was under warentee and there was a HD failure and I lost a bunch of stuff, but BBuy just swapp
Wondering why she's topless, though. What? You never had a recently potty-trained 2 year old? I spend most of my time asking her where she left her pants!
Maddy is learning about the joys of dress up and pretend. I'm really grooving on how her imagination works. And anyone who tells you that there is
But -- and here's the point where I commend her -- she did it after carefully weighing the options. Too many parents just choose one option or the other, without really thinking it through. I believe that parents need to prayerfully consider how to raise their kids, and ultimately, decide what is best. Which is what I see Angela doing in the article. And just to reemphasize the email I sent her...I think she is a good mo
