I don't do puke. I'm a pansy. If a kid tells me s/he has a tummy ache, and it's like after lunch, I send them to the potty first, because I figure a poop might take care of it, and then if they still feel icky, they go to the nurse. I've seen a couple of pukers a couple of times this year, and I think I've done better in the past...but...blech. I think part of it is that *I* haven't puked since I was eleven, and that was a hormone

What it comes down to is you think I should be a certain way and I'm not the way you think I should be. And I'm never going to be what you think I should. You're adults. I'm an adult. If you don't want to read me, that's fine. If you do, that's fine, too. Go ahead and respond, baker...I can delete your comments if I think it's crap. I've got no problems doing that. You can give me all the "constructive criticism" you want. I
Please, stop it. I've about had enough. You can feel free to not read or respond, either. It's your choice.
I think it was probably just meant as an "umbrella" example for words that aren't appropriate. Maybe it's meant to convey that we need to think before we speak because sometimes we say something really inappropriate without knowing that it's hurtful. But "fag"...most younger kids wouldn't really know what a "fag" is per se, and why it's not appropriate. "I pledge allegiance to the flag, Michael Jackson is a fag..." I had a kid tell me that this yea
I have nothing "out" for you, it's just what *you* think. lol...and you enjoy it... Whatever.
Then why do you keep trying so desperately to "prove" something? And why do you keep trying so desperately to keep my nose stuck in the mud bowed to you?
Baker~ I fucked up. Well, Karma thinks I fucked up. And I've moved on. I am emotional. ANd that's how I run. And you don't like it. And that's fine. You're one of the few I hear bitching and moaning about me. Seriously. There isn't a "fuck Marcie" ideology going around any longer. There was for a while. And it was deserved. Even Sabrina could get over it now again. You however, refuse to get on with lif
I'm sad that they both left as well...just because I'm old and grumpy and don't like change. Everyone here, the new people, the oldies, the admins, they all have their places in our little "family." It's a family that snarls, laughs, hits, kicks, snorts, smokes, hugs, cries, and loves, but it's a family nonetheless. ~shrugs~ That's the way I see it. We're a family even in that we ebb and flow. New members are born, old members move away or die (a
The only option we have is to agree with you, or you take offense. Maybe the problem isn't us You refuse to see ANY validity in what I say. You think it's all crap. That's what pisses me off. I didn't say the problem wasn't anyone. I love the way you put words in my "fingers".
Oh, please. It wasn't your blog or your opinions that got you confined, it was your personal attacks on me. I guess you still don't "get it". LW and I didn't get along when she first started. I even confined her in the past. Did she ever walk on egg shells around me? No, because she knew the line. She'd 100% disag
Marcie, think of it this way. If you are constantly having to stop yourself from saying things that offend people, maybe you are in the wrong crowd. You don't get on people's 'shit list' in a single instance. I've seen far too many people start off bad here and end up being welcomed. The people that have been banned from JU were
baker... I agree with you *choke* *gasp*... What you're saying makes sense. I learned with all the crap with Karma though, that now I *do* have to watch what I say. Because I feel if I disagree with her again, I'm gone. So I just STFU alot and ignore her comments. That seems to be the best policy for all involved. And while I enjoy JU to no end, it's alot safer to blog on my other one. I can say whatever the fuck I want
~shrugs~ I'm a moron, and I don't really give a rat's ass about NBC or their ratings. I really enjoy the Olympics, both summer and winter. I always have. And I don't think that will ever stop throughout my lifetime. I love everything about them, from the footraces to snowboard cross, from figureskating to gymnastics (my two personal favorites). I spent hours the past two weeks in front of the tv watching to see how the US did, and France,
This article was, of course, inspired by the recent developments within JU, but does not relate directly to it. I will say no more than that on the subject, except to say that I have one expectation of my friends, and that is that they understand I will not compromise my loyalty to other friends simply to prove my loyalty to them
You can't however call Brad childish. I know I made a statement about "childish". BUT...I did not call your husband or anyone else childish. I called the situation childish. <TD class="mb-Body-Quote-
I'm not privy to his daily life me neither, and it's really none of my business. I think the actions really speak for themselves.
I saw S say that she's never going to write another line at JU, and it made me cry. For all of our nastiness and fights, I do love and respect Sabrina and it makes me sad that she's going. Exactly...that's what makes me so sad... I think that we have a little bit of her in us...and that's what makes us
You gotta admit, Brad, it takes balls for someone to say the things to you that Simon did. You're the kind of guy who would say something similarly biting. I've seen you do it. The only difference is you CAN say those types of things with impunity while no one else can. And that's how it is. Your site, your rules. This is less a
You know, Marcie, you can join them if you'd like. I'm always looking for an opportunity to free more database bandwidth. Haven't you said on many occasions you were leaving? I could help with that. I'm childish that way. It's your place, and it's your choice what you want to do. ~shrugs~ <BR
I agree. Really? I think it's a test of wills. It's not my place to get involved as all parties are adults, but like you, the whole situation makes me sad. Sad, sad, sad.
lol...this has got to be the most childish thing I think I've ever heard...and consider who's talking here. Wow... I mean...it's totally your site, Brad...and I appreciate that you allow me to post my crap here. Isn't this whole thing a little overblown though?? ~shrugs~ I suppose I shouldn't really even care. It's none of my business.
One word: get a therapist. Three words: You're a moron. Definitely use that private blog. If you can't talk about the things you're experiencing, especially when it comes to your patients, you might get burned out--and privately doing what you need to do to deal with your losses--and they wi
Also, I agree with what someone else said on a post, and that is that we need to remind ourselves that there is more than one type of intelligence out there...so maybe we can't all talk politics or finances...or maybe we all don't know about sports or socializing, but we are knowledgeable on at least one thing...and instead of co
Wow, that's really all I can say about that. Just trying to offer a little constructive criticism but I will heed your warning in the future. BTW, Baker is not always right. Noone is I wasn't trying to be rude, Jill. But it's the same old stuff from the same old folks, you know? If people don
Marcie, I like you but this sort of comment makes you seem very immature. One rule of communication that I personally strive to uphold is to consider the following before saying or writing something: "what do I want to accomplish in saying/writing what I am about to say/right?" and "Will what I am about to s
