Thanks, K! You can't see the rest of me, however. Ugh.

Karen...I can't figure out this picture thing...I'll email you the picture thats on my yahoo if that's okay...if not just delete it.
lol...Karen...you're just so damned cool. Not to mention your kiddos! I'd love to be a fly on the wall in your house just for an hour. And I absolutely ADORE fuschias...we get one every year.
If I have kids...boys (yup...I think that Ryan only has "boy" sperm)...they're going to see cheesy chick flicks!
Duh, babe. I live in Vegas and make $25K a year. I have to supplement my income somehow! You know I've got my naked fatass body on one of those baseball cards the people stand on the street and click...
I say if all your kids are feeling okay tomorrow (I hope your son is feeling better... ), you close all the blinds, screw the coffee, get out the BOB, and woo yourself into a sex-induced sleep. lol:)
The more I read about Lynndie what what she did, the sicker I get. I don't think her child should have to suffer the consequences of her actions, and he won't...she was deployed for a long time prior to all this, right? So he's probably "used" to that (if a child can ever be used to having mom or dad away from home). Frankly, I think they should ship her back to Iraq, stuff her in Abu Ghraib, and let the prisoners strip her naked, dr
Are you sure you want to stay at your school next year? Are you looking for something new? Tell em to shove it...
I agree with Zoomba. First, I don't think these kids are being FORCED into participating in this curriculum. Parents always have the right to say "no...I don't want my child in class for that part of the lesson" or something...especially when its on such a sensitive topic. I think I would invite the parents to an informational meeting--show them the curriculum, let them know how it's going to be taught and discussed, etc. But allowing those
I hate all porn, even the "articles." I guess it's all jealousy based, but I"m woman enough to admit it I guess. It really hurts me when Ryan looks at it...I almost left him in June because of it. I'd caught him once earlier on porn sites, and again in June. It makes me feel really inferior and like a total Plain Jane. I'll never compare to anyone who's in those magazines...and if that's what he wants he's going to be dis

ACK...okay...I'm really sorry I keep on posting... www.fashionbug.com www.roamans.com Again, sometimes they have granny type things and sometimes they have younger women things. As for Lane Bryant stores, you may just want to go into one...they tend to have cute seasonal type things, etc., actually in the store/
www.lanebryantcatalog.com too...I think it tends to be more old-ladyish, wide-strapped soft-cup type of things, but occasionally they have some more feminine, younger styles that you might like.
Fredericks of Hollywood, baby. They also have some fun costumes that you and Adrian might enjoy. The address is www.fredericks.com And yes...they have 38DD.
I like peas.
The second happened a while ago...and I wrote a blog about it because I felt so horrible. I dreamt that I was on this retreat with some people from school. Karen (another first grade teacher) and I and a 5th grade teacher, Jen, went out on this raft going down this river to save some of Jen's cats. On our way down the river away from the boathouse, Jen jumped off the raft to get into the water to look for her STUPID sticker collection. Kare
The first was the most recent: I dreamt that Ryan and I had finally gotten engaged, but he got the ring that I really really did NOT want...it looks like its a huge diamond from far away, but up close it's really like 8 little diamond chips clumped together...and then we were planning and stuff and nothing was going well...and I had to learn to love that ring that I *HATED*.
HA! I saw Tex's post so I thought I'd tell you about some of the interesting dreams I've had lately.
*covers her virgin ears* ACK!
~shrugs~ I guess I'm always willing to give a fresh start. Just because I don't agree with you on one topic doesn't mean you don't have a fresh, new idea I might not have considered on another topic. Mikey pointed out that no one read his energy articles, and he's right...I think I skimmed them, but believing they were over my head (they probably were...I'm a bit of a space cadet), I quickly moved on. I wish he'd left his articles i
I think that some people out there who really NEED the help and wouldn't take it for granted don't know where to go to get those resources, and *THAT'S* sad, too. Even more sad, like you mentioned, is those who expect that the government should assist them and that that assistance should maintain a somewhat "posh" lifestyle. I really admire you and Adrian for using your resources wisely, getting your educations, and taking good care of your c
"Love Stinks." I don't know who wrote it or even who sung it, but it's got to be the most *truthful* love song out there. Plus, every time I hear it I'm reminded of the good times I've had with friends watching "The Wedding Singer." I'm also "in love" with the Rascal Flatts Version of "Bless the Broken Road"...it *SO* describes my life's path to Ryan: I set out on a narrow way many years ago Hoping I would find true love along t
It's *JUST* cyberspace, dude. Real life is a little more important.
I give my first graders one sheet of homework a night. One side is math, and the other is language. And that's usually it. I ask them to study their spelling words and read each night. I don't think it's too much. Still...half my parents have a butt load of excuses why it's not turned in and why they can't spend time reading with their kid. THEN of course its *MY* fault if their child is reading below where they need to be.
I've never been to ANYTHING Disney, and while I had the inkling as a child, now I could care less. And this is also really cheesy...but...to me, a vacation is something where I don't have to travel or go all over. I can just park my butt, not worry about work, and read a book. Going to a theme park or something is definitely not my piece of cake. BUT...I'm glad that you're getting some off time from work and time to spend with your
