Hey, hey, my, my - Neil Young
Enter yrag.
The duck'll give him a skinnin' lesson alright. Oh, you mean that "skinning".. [e digicons]}:)[/e]
Great advice -- I have only one thing to add -- After every change you make, or when you're done with a skinning session -- save your changes by making .wba file! That way if you mess something up on the next change/session, you have a good saved copy of the skin to revert back to.
Karen! [e digicons]:thu
My best advice would be to download a good quality skin 4+ stars and then open it in SKS (you can have more than one instance of SKS open at one time) this way you can click a part in your skinn and click the same part in another skin and see how they did it !
I looked at his last WB attempt and advised him to do the same, Harley. Best tip for any potential WB skinner...IMHO. [e digicons][/e]
So you've seen my work, eh?
Uhhh...errrrr...hummmm, yeah, love ya, buddy! [e digicons]
You can make ANY skin that'll "work" (if it sneaks past moderation) , Z...but do you want a skin you'll delete two minutes after downloading it or one you'll use and like awhile... [e digicons]
(SKS 6 August 14, 2008) DAEWOO owner's manual anyone? [e digicons]
Been there quite a few times.

It needs a 'Librarian' to keep it current with updates to the software.
Hope it don't get some bristles up but seems as much "volunteer" content (skins, art, help, etc.) and subscriptions as WC is getting from the members now, SD would concentrate more effort on maintaining/creating tutorials, wikis and other software related content themselves. (just as long as I can use George Carlin's "7 Words" on a daily basis)
I always encourage fellow skinners/artists from especially, DA, to take a look at WC, SkinBase and other art/skins sites but it seems some people just prefer to hang out at one particular site or another and nowhere else. Don't know if it's personality, age, interest or site related or simply fitting into a specific "clique" but that's the way it is. I'll be honest, back in the day when I first came here from DA, my first impression of WC was, what a bunch of arrogant a**holes but after awhil
is Windows office for the mac the best route to go
I used MS Office to begin with (no problems) then installed NeoOffice which I ended up liking better. Here's a comparison link...they both (MS & Neo) work fine...it's according to what you do and personal preference.... Oh yeah, like the layering, transparency and shadowing on the wall...good depth. The more I look at it, kinda agree with DEVJIT though...darker would make the orange/green "pop" better but it's your design, bro...I'm just one of the nuts in the peanut gallery. You 'da man.... [e digicons][/e]
Harley, from what I can tell on my phone, loving that wall with the blind's overall design, man. Damn work has this site on restricted access so I'll get a better look when I get home... [e digicons][/e]
OK Rick so whichh one Ford Chevy or Toyota ?
Much as I love classic American muscle, I'm embarrassed to say these days it's (1) Toyota and (1) Honda. [e digicons][/e]
About two years ago, I bought a MacBook and have to admit I fell in love with it. Yes, IT JUST WORKS and works well. I initially made the change because I was simply bored with XP (NEVER did like Vista) and it seemed like people’s interest in skinning was beginning to seriously wane from what it used to be. A few months ago , when I again got the skinning bug, I bought a new Lenovo with Win7 installed and was pleasantly surprised with the feel of Windows 7 over previous Windows versions
Uh-Huh...great colors and interesting design, Harley! I like it..ALOT! [e digicons][/e]
