It's funny how people just DEMAND things. Maybe if say there is an incentive. Like letting thoe with talents create mods for this game. They would then turn it over to Stardock who will look at it, and then post it for downloads for a fee of about $0.25 to $1.00 american. The profit is then shared between Stardock and the creator of the mod. It's a win-win situation. Well

if i understand u right you r talkin about the debug.err Located (if you used the defualt install dir) C:\program files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2 Then look for it , its called debug.err right in the games root dir - IE its in the galciv2 folder, not in the root folders Then right click it, openwith... choose notepad/word pad And copy paste the information here
Spleeze you should explan to these new people. That you do not actually model these ships, you have taken them from other games that people have freely posted IE- SFC3, etc and just converted them so they will work with the Gal Civ2 engine. Just get the game off of amazon.com, you get a good price and you know what you r gettin, and you wont have any problems with the serials, you know its brand new not used IE-IT might be registered by another person and you cant update your game. I personally didnt need a tutorial, becuase i had a lot of experiance with these types of TBS.
