>>before the whole town knows and gossip about the 'what happened??' If and when that happens, just ignore the busybodies' talk. They will only be interested for a while before they move on to some other 'news'. Feel better soon, Islandgurl.
Hey, that's cool.
Great article. I love food. For me, when I'm happy, I eat more. If I was upset or depressed, I'd eat less. I think I've been more happy than sad lately (although you can't tell from my blogs!). >> you hit 40 if you haven’t lost the extra weight you’ve been carrying around, it would be very hard to get rid of it I'm beginning to feel that way even though I just about to touch 30. They say Asians tend to accumilate more fat o
That is a very nice place, no wonder it's all booked up.
>> Aren't material gifts an outward expression of inward feelings? Yeah they can be. It's nice of him to give you stuff so thoughtfully, some guys just get the minimum or whatever they think you should like. In JLo's case, what she was talking about in that song was her boyfriend subsituting his love with material things (as contrast to complementing as in your case), and trying to impress her with his expensive car an
The forum is kinda slow in updating at times. Number of replies aren't reflected properly in the forums either nowadays.
Christmas seems more widely celebrated. From my viewpoint as a Christian, I really can't say for sure which is more significant, they are both equally so - you can't have one without the other. As for pagan overtones, I think the reason why those dates were used was so that the converted ex-pagans can use dates that they can remember to honor and celebrate Christ instead of having their pagan rituals.
Good one, Chip.
I always say it's good to know when you need a break, and here's hoping you have a fine time out there. *G* Lurk away...
Hardly got the time to go through that guy's sort of rants knowing what it's usually about...
Get well soon, Spc Nobody!
Happy Easter, Cordelia. I have noticed when I try to write with a pen, my handwriting is horrible, worsened since my school days. And I'm so slow with a pen.... >> We were all evacuated from our homes, and all I took with me was my dogs and the computers. The only two important things. It seems I felt that all else could be replaced. Others took boatloads of stuff with them, and some refused to leave - as if staying would stop the fir
I've been thinking of getting Fantasia's album after listening to this song. I didn't think she was that good before this.
Sweet pics.
How very teeth grinding. She sounds old fashioned, having such an attitude that supervisors boss instead of lead and guide. It's a pain to have to work with someone like that. If she's digging her heels in and staying like that, maybe it's better you move away.
I find his "witty" comments annoying at times.
All the best, Texas!
Reading this, I agree. Good read and reminder for me.
I'm at 58 wpm.
I did enjoy the game , although I admit that at first I didn't really like very much. It wasn't until I got into talking with the community that I started 'getting' what the game was all about. I like that map that is included with the game, every rpg should have a map like that included. It actually does show most, if not all, of where the caves are.
I would suspect that it's all about the "ME" factor and the fear of losing or lacking behind one's peers in terms of material things, status and money. Or maybe they fail to see themselves as a part of a bigger whole.
It's very on-and-off right now. I have to reload a blog page several times to get it to open.
>> Technology has made it possible for others to contact us at any time. And lately, it has me feeling pretty detained. That is why I still don't have a cell phone. But there was a time when work required me to have one - I hated it.
