I notice a tendency for the format of the page to get ruined when one tries to copy/paste directly from MS Word.

All the other weird chemicals are probably preservatives. Yeah i've seen that, grape concentrate, grape juice and then flavoring...grapes for grapes themselves can't make real juice for drinking apparently.

BlueDev: I always though men had it easy, not having so much to think about what to wear or what they will look good in. I mean, how terrible can a guy look in a nicely tailored suit? You guys can just dress up plain shirt, coat, tie and pants, and look smart. Women tend to dress and have to look good, have to look fashionable and there' sjust so many comments and comparisons and things that has to match...

I would think it's the capital letters too (they read like you are shouting), and the way in which you write down your views. Lack of smilies may also lead people to think you are unfriendly and possibly fierce. This is the way things are on the net. I tend to express my views in plain text with no smilies when I'm serious, and apparently, it sometimes make insecure types very defensive. Hasn't happened to me here yet, but it happened elsewhere. And I'm not even into political discussions. Insis

This season, although it has better contestants, is rather boring. The last one had guest celebraties, like Elton John, Gloria Estefan and Barry Manilow, and it was interesting amd fun to watch. I suspect the judges themselves are getting bored, which would explain the samey and predictable comments.

The only rule over at my lab is closed shoes when working. The admin people have a different set of rules I suspect. My mum's workplace has some rules like no thongs, and a strict rule about wearing stockings if you are wearing skirts. It's just stupid really. And they have this HR woman going around "catching people". She would write notes to those she caught flouting the rules. *sounds like someone misses being a monitor in primary school*

I don't want her to have negative feelings about this, but she's been starting to call herself stupid, which is, to say the least, shocking. I don't know if other kids are saying things to her, or if this is a new thing that she's picked up, but she never used to feel this way about herself. In fact, she has very strong math stil

Good friends are hard to find, and still, the ones you are close to will always be the ones to disappoint and hurt you the worst. If they didn't matter it wouldn't hurt as much I guess. I just recently had an ugly fight with a "best friend" and he turned into someone I don't know anymore. I had my cry, I admit I'm hurt. Thoughts like yours crossed my mind too. Now I'm just waiting for time to past, still hoping maybe things will be better.<BR

People disappoint and it's those closest to you that can hurt you the most. I guess we have to accept that people are just human and sometimes they just can't see us or our needs, and sometimes they just see their own. I'm coming to the point I just don't expect my friends to be there for me. If they are, fine. If they just can't handle my eccentricity, my blunt honesty, well, goodbye. Lost of someone who has been my friend for a few years over one stu

I think resurb has a point (rare for an anonymous user...) about the man just lashing out. Don't take to heart what he says. Of course it's probably easier to say that than to be unaffected by it. Hope things take a turn for the better for you soon.

>>Older men, tend to be alot more confident. That and a whole lot more stubborn too, in my experience. ah well, hope your friend has a happy birthday.

Interesting points. Fear leads to anger Anger leads to hate hate leads to suffering... or least that's what they say. Seriously though, people do come to hate what they fear. You can't apply that to non-living things, but you might apply it to living things.
