Happy Birthday Chip!

These things are sale-able, I think. I've seen novelty sweets like spicy hot sweets and weird tasting gums packaged with strange names like in your idea. There are also candy packed in a plastic bottles that look like vitamin pill bottles, with a clever joke label pasted on the outside.
BlueDev, >>Interesting. They must just focus on the winners then? Here in the US Clay really does seem to be dominating the group. I know Kelly has a disc (more? I don't know), Ruben does as well. But Clay has been on many more programs and has been getting more airplay. Kelly Clarkson and Clay Aiken gets lots of airplay here in Singapore. Reuben doesn't get played at all, all we ever heard f
Nice pics! You all look great!
>> That's beautiful music to my ears... it almost sounds punk rock like. Are you a punkrawker? It certainly would be believable if you are. Thanks Capt'n, I'm not a punkrawker, but I think I have the attitude of one. *G* Muggaz: To cover all grounds: all the molecules that this person possesses would be better off if they were part of other objects.</font
At the risk of sounding like a me-too-er, I've come to like Clay too. Didn't really like him during the contest itself, it was right after his first single, I really started liking his performances. I'd buy all his albums.
Me too. Great article.
>> You know YOU should try. "Count your blessings name them one by one.." I do that once in a while too. It cheers me up a bit when I'm down. Helps me to appreciate things a bit more.
Anything that I can relate to or I feel that i have something constructive to add. I tend to avoid what I consider flame baits or posts by people who think too highly of themselves or pronoucing themselves as right from the article get-go. I wouldn't respond to anyone who is trying to get rise out of me either.
hehe. Thanks guys.
That's true. And you get a leftover insightful for that, Chip.
My problem with e-cards is that I'm not always sure if it was that person who sent me. They have virus-like titles and I'm very paranoid with regards to them.
I guess that they wanted the new christians to be able to remember the dates, so 25th was picked. Instead of using to honor the old gods or traditions, the pagan-turned-christians used the old holidays to honor and remember Christ. It goes to show that humans are beings that are not easy to change. Most of the old practices are really still intact.
Love the pics as always, Texas. I love your family pic, everyone actually looks happy to be in the picture, not like mine - everyone looks like they were ordered to be there and they most probably were!
Hello Some of us start here with no idea what we were going to do here and found ourselves scribbling down in here all sorts of things. Hope you have fun blogging here.
Feel better, Muggaz? *G*
I pray strength and comfort to you, Lifehappens.
I think daring to just be yourself and not follow crowds is being cool.
Photo viewing programs don't tell you how large the picture really is. I've scanned photos and they are always huge to start off with. You can resize them with Paint or Paintshop or one of those editors. You can do it with Paint. Image - Stretch/Skew, key in the horizontal and vertical stretch percentages. e.g. 50% for both reduces the pic by 50%. Things look normal on the photo hosting site because if you are using IE, it tends to r
>> Think of how much you love getting personal mail. Even if they don't send one back to you, you will still be making someone's day that they got something besides a bill, someone was thinking of them. Maybe someone will even shock you and mail you a card back I agree with you. Thanks for dropping by, Locamama. >> Who knows, you might convince someone to send you some
It's a good idea to go and see the doctor. I was diagnose with mild depression in my last job, some the symptoms are like yours - don't feel like getting out of bed, feeling utterly sad, pointless and lifeless. Of course mine was caused by job burnout. I had one or two panic attacks - it's just this horrible feeling (can't breath, heart thumping). Can't do anything - don't want to. Head feels like its being squeezed. I grounded my teeth n
Should I send them out this year or not? Last year I sent out a few and got none in return. Most people are just too lazy in this day and age. But I think most people will agree that getting cards through mail is more exciting and meaningful than getting one through the email. I don't like e-cards at all. I think I shall sent out some cards afteral
A lot of my non-forum ones are unplanned. A lot of the planned ones which goes on the forums were roughly drafted a day or two, or even a week or so in advance. (Unless it's something I got excited about.) Sometimes I write an article and put it on hold because I feel that it would be misunderstood (due to the mood of community or current hot topic). A few will never see the light of your monitor screens at all. <img src="../images/smiles/smile.gif" b
