Cleanflicks is a Utah based company who are predominately LDS folks. They company originates from Utah County (the epicenter of LDS conservatism) and they have been doing this for years. I think that their primary motivation here is not providing family friendly movies. But to make a buttload of cash doing it. Greed is not a sin in these here parts. They're just wrapping themselves in the family friendly flag for the sake of filling their pockets.

Actually Toberlone, knowing he was beaten and raped by another inmate is what made it feel like justice. I understand why some people do not support the death penalty. I wish we lived in a world that it wasn't needed. But as long as we do need to use it, there has to be a better way of making sure that what happened in Texas (and for that fact in other states as well) never happens again. That's my point. Nothing else.

Yep Mod, i am. I used to be against it. But a childhood friend was murdered THEN raped by a serial killer named Arthur Gary Bishop. My only regret is that he chose the needle instead of the firing squad. (we have that in Utah) Thanks Ted. I've been busy battling the forces of evil....Uhm i mean the usual.

Yep. I agree Mod. But for the record, i am pro death penalty. I just think Texas is wayyyy too eager to sentence people to death to the point that death row is so full they have to "fast track" the executions. And the system is obviously far from perfect.

How many of you own an iPOD and subscribe to iTUNES? I used to be one of you. I thought "What a GREAT deal this iPOD thingie is. I can load what i want on it and pay per song!" What a bargain! Boy was i WRONG! I totalled up how much i have spent over the past couple of years.....Well over 500 bucks in music alone. One word.......HOSED!

Agreed Guy. I think he scares the hell out of the more liberal leaning catholics. What they need to remember is that a cardinal and a pope don't work in the same ways. A cardinal has the luxury of being able to focus on their personal beliefs, whereas a pope has to look a lot harder at the bigger picture. Either way, He has to be given the chance to either be a great leader, or a terrible one. It's way too early i the game to annoint

As a catholic who has left the church for its archaic practices...I see Benedict just as he is. A caretaker. I mean, he's 78 years old for one. which means he has maybe 10 years on the throne. I don't see him dragging the church back into the dark ages as many others do. But then again when JP II took the throne everybody thought the church would be revolutionized....It wasn't. You never know what a pope will do when in power. I think that in

Guy, I figured out where it occurred. It was Silver_and_jade_tears who penned the article. Unfortunately since she deleted her acct...We can't crack this nut. Sorry about that. (i gotta start archiving my posts on others threads i guess) In all fairness to you, i'm not sure if you actually knew where it came from. I think it was a "blind link". It was actually kinda funny in the end, but not at your expense.

There is legislation pending on the federal level that would allow a "hand off" to another pharmacist to insure that service could not be denied based on the pharmacist's personal beliefs. My friend Mike is a pharmacist. He was telling me that it is a major problem nowadays. He works with two other pharmacists who are both active Mormons and they are considering denying filling scrips based on their ethics. But he also told me that th

Ok my bad! i can admit making a mistake or two on accassion. But the point is you guys yammer about how the vast liberal conspiracy is keeping your god fearing rightie judges off the bench.. What a load. And miler? I wouldn't be accusing anyone of not having a clue. At least Guy can be rational at times. Guy it was a Clinton article that someone wrote.(can't remember the name of it, but i'll see if i can find it) back in december. I mentioned that i admired bubba and y

Lemme see here....250 + judges approved, 10 refused. Yeah that's a vast left wing conspiracy! Ya know Guy, maybe you should do some homework before you start whining how the left is out to get dubya's nominees. But then again, you once tried to use the STAR magazine as a legitimate source once with me a while back : :

I agree with you 100% Zoom. There are more effective ways to protest and still keep it within legal boundaries. Nobody ever said you had to be smart to be in college.

Uhm... Last time i checked, the war was still on folks. Americans are dying and being kidnapped. Typical of the right. Claiming victory before crossing the finish line. These college kids have the right to protest in a peaceful manner. Even if it is a moronic way to do it.
