I used to get worked up about some of the posts i read on JU. I came to the conclusion that for the most part, you can't change the opposition's opinion no matter how hard you try if they aren't receptive to it. I look at JU more like a buffet of info rather than trying to change anyone's mind. I pick and choose what posts i agree with, and those i don't. Even if i think the author is a freakin lunatic, (not singling anyone out here) i just don't feel

If folks were more responsible about spaying and neutering their pets maybe kitty hunting wouldn't be an issue. Look at it this way, I like bunny rabbits. There cute, fuzzy, and very docile. But it's ok to shoot them in 99% of the country. Why? because they overbreed and destroy crops, and kill other species in the process if their numbers aren't managed by hunting them. I guess in the end it comes down to "hot button" issues. Which post generates the most interest based on the current climate around JU. I think everybody around here has written what they think to be a thought provoking interesting article...And zip! No replies, or few replies.
