I love the fact that I can write something and know someone read it (by seeing how many times it was selected) and perhaps even thought enough to leave a comment. There is no way I would have stuck around as long as I have, or enjoyed myself as much as I do, if I didn't think, no, if I didn't know that there are people reading what I write. I CLICKED ON ARTICLE YOU'D WRITTEN AND LOVED IT! AND THE ABOVE "SELECTED" SENTENCES ARE EXACTLY HOW I

Very well expressed article! well said BlueDev!! It probably helps alot of us to express our feelings in a blog, and if it's true emotions, true experiences, to heck with those that can't or won't understand! It's a blog of a different type if they're just seeking points, and/or attention..... Personally, I blog to help me understand myself!!! and sometimes to share experiences with others. Trudy A++++ article BlueDev!

Hello wstaylor: Interesting what doctors can do now for heart pts. I wish you well! Is heart catherization the correct terminology for having an angiogram? I've had 5 of those. My Lad has dissected twice resulting in two mild heart attacks. What you're about to have ( the AIDC) must be cutting edge technology, no pun intended!!!!!! Very interesting post, please let us know how you're doing, ok?? Hang in there <img src="../image

Chrissy, I don't think you've waited tooooo long to bring it up!!! Many victims of sexual attack, and there are many kinds of offenses, wait years before they finally tell. Women are told to keep quiet and just let it go........this Scott character is more than a bully, he's an offender in my book. Please don't blame yourself because there was alcohol involved, that didn't make what he did ok. It's always good if we ask ourselves what our own

Wow! what a fun read! You're brave, dating is alot like eating at a foreign restaurant, you don't know if you're going to like a particular dish, and then what do ya do when you don't like it??? He was quite the ultimate jerk!! you're much better off without that one!!!! My last "gentleman friend", said things like "you're amazing" and so different from other women", I should have run as far as I could have!!!!! This not wanting t

Dear Jilluser: What a wonderful and caring community! and you're part of that! Odd for me to read this, in that while having my gallbladder taken out two weeks ago, the surgeon did three liver biopsies, as it didn't look good.......and I got the devastating news last Friday..... So...I hope some of my neighbors, friends, and relatives will be able and want to "just pop in" and sit with me, maybe read me a selection of poetry. Washing a load of c

I love to dumpster dive, have "curbside furniure" and think it's the norm, cherish kool-aid and peanutbutter sandwiches, watch wrestling, lived in a trailor for 8 years and miss it, and swear by sweats. Does that get me in? Trudygolightly

I'd love to be a circus performer, and work with horses. I love horses, the glamor of the costumes, the training of the horses, the smell of sawdust, the bright lights, the music of the caliope, and the applause. Trudygolighty

Maybe the stickers have some effect on one's driving skills?) I don't know if the stickers affect people's driving skills, but.....here in the midwest if you've got a driver in front of you that's wearing a hat, beware!!! Drivers' that wear hats are to be avoided at all times! They signal left and turn

I've noticed that posting on weekends, oddly enough, seems to be when more people respond to enteries, not mine of course.....but ya, some days of the week a post might get more answers. I've been posting here quite awhile now, and have all of about 7 comments total, so am thinking I might as well write in an old-fashioned diary! or some lessons in writing......

Amitty: Me too me too!!!! I got hooked on Ebay a year ago this March, just went there to see if I could find a movie my sis loves, and oh boy!! There are toys and dolls from my childhood, which I thought I'd never ever see again. There's movies that are hard to find and not too costly......but wait.....it is costly......for me it was the ability to actually see and have a piece of my childhood.. someone once said "you can't go home".......I'm

You handled the situation admirably! You were very generous to her, and went above and beyond the call....man, she's got some serious issues!!! Let's hope she grows up and becomes more like you, or at least that she doesn't hurt too many more before she's done using people. No! You were'nt an idiot! And you didn't let it go any further, great! Trudy

It's cold right now where I live too, and your kitchen sounds heavenly! Your supper sounds scrumptious, and made me realize how much I miss home. The leaves on the bush outside my bedroom are half red, half green, and I truly expect a "late summer" followed by an early winter, and a severe one at that. I think us "northers" appreciate the summer and delight in the autumn, as nature means business in the upper states!! Trudy

Nicky, I'm sorry you're going through this with your sister. It's frustrating I know, because like you say, "it's family". Sometimes, not always though, time helps sisters and other family members to grow and be more supportive of each other. Sometimes we end up having to "not have someone in our life" if their being part of our life means we are in a continual state of distress...and that includes sisters. I hope a peaceful solution is found, Tru

Good evening: I know exactly of what you are speaking....I have a family member living with me. And some of the habits this adorable person has are atrocious!!! kind of like my spelling at times. I tried nagging, asking, threatening, and then I finally just said that these two particular habits are unacceptable, change them, lose them or move out. And it has worked. And I didn't lose this person's love. And we're still in the same apt.

On a good day I remember the time I got my mom a whole carload of flowers, for no special reason other than she used to say she didn't want them after she died, she wanted them now. On a bad day I remember all the time I could have spent with her, instead of running off to the roller rink, or spending the afternoons riding my horse throught the woods. On an average day, well I just try to see how many good things I can do now, and try to convi
