hehe, the wife of my ex's best friend got pregnant right in the hospital, right after having her baby. they had missed each other's "company" and spent some time in her hospital room, alone. I guess they missed each other just enough, now they have 3 kids instead of two.

Being a mom with a son that has helped, I can tell you it's a blessing! It feels wonderful to have someone care enough to do that for you. Bless you Mason, and Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to you Dr. Guy, may you have the best yet year of your life! Yes, please push a tamale through the modem! I haven't had one of those since Spanish Club in high school...oh those were the years... I don't know just yet what on earth I'm going to make for tonight. Tomorrow is lasagna for sure, maybe just a pizza tonight along with a vegie tray.

This was a fascinating read Rose and thank you for sharing with us a glimpse into your life. My 2006...and my 2007 * I too had one of my most stressful years as an aging person, mom, and sister. I just received news from my younger sister that my niece, only age 36, ruptured a disc in her spine and a piece of it somehow was responsible for temporarily paralyzing her. She had spine surgery Friday and I don't know yet how she's doing. It

Your Christmas sounds like the one played out in homes across the World! We had maple flavored sausage links with our eggs, toast and cocoa. I hope you get some rest this weekend! Holidays for moms are so tiring!!

" little later he came back and said that they had played it exactly as I had told him they would, and thanked me for saving him a few foolishly spent bucks." Goood! now maybe they'll move on to the next bar and the people in this one can relax and enjoy their evening:)

after a weird lunch of macaroni and cheese, with chicken nuggets ( for my son) and a tv dinner for me, ( turkey and taters with peas) we're getting ready to sit down and watch his new DVD's, "Star Wars" numbers 5 and 6, which is "The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi". Don't know how much I can stand to sit through... Maury is the pits! Mighty nice people live in trailors so please? don't use that term "trailor trash"??&nbsp

Your post reveals your driving experience and training! In our community in just this week there's been 3 fatal accidents, all involving driving too fast for conditions. That's 3 people here that won't see Christmas, if they'd just slow down...

MM: I'll take the challenge, just not before I'm finished packing and moving. These arthritic hands of mine have a hard enough time! can't imagine going without thumbs....had to go without the use of one finger two different times when I broke it twice! Hard as heck to not be able to use just little old finger!

Sounds like KFC has some good points there Mason, hope you feel better, sooner rather than later too! My regular knee was hurting like crazy the day before last, just before the snow storm rolled in, the arthritis does that to it. I imagine you're getting some in that hip now. You might need something that won't affect your concentration, yet do more for the pain. Best wishes <img src="../images/smiles/smile.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmid

I used to walk to town sometimes in broad daylight and never thought twice about how hard it is to be seen! I found out though when I saw someone walking on the side of the road, at nighttime it's almost impossible to see them! AND whether or not most of us like it, the older we get the worse our night vision gets, making it even harder to see things, especially people dressed in dark clothes Good article KFC
